I have had this in my bedroom for three years. I run it at least eight hours per day. The filter just today flashed red for me to replace it. The product description says filter needs replacement about every nine months. Very pleased with this air purifier.

Works great, lasts for years, infrequent filter changes
My child has lots of dust, and pollen allergies and swears by this air purifier. It has 3 settings which is good. 1 is quiet, 3 is loud, We adjust as needed. We have had the same ones for about 5 years and only need to clean the filter once a year. It works great! We have one per room. Love it. There a UV nightlight we don’t use but it’s neat. Only difference is ours is dark grey./black. Do you still make grey?
