Cuisinart Chef's Classic 9" Non-Stick Champagne Color Loaf Pan - AMB-9LPCH: Carbon Steel Bread Baking Pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan feels so much more expensive than it is. Heavy duty with reinforced edges at the top makes it a great value. It is “coated” with a non stick coating, however the instructions still say to follow the recipe and prepare pan as stated specifically greasing or grease and flour, so don’t buy it thinking you can skip these steps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this bread baking pan. It’s a champagne beige color. It’s very pretty and it’s dishwasher safe. I really needed something like this so I can start making banana bread instead of buying it. This pan is perfect for that but I would still hand wash even though it’s dishwasher safe. Also don’t use pam with these cause it can cause sticky residue.

This red pan comes in handy for a variety of different recipes. Overall, I felt it did a nice job with even baking. It does claim that it is dishwasher safe and I’m curious to see long-term how that works out. Otherwise handwashing will do the job. Since it has a nonstick surface, it cleans pretty easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cuisinart really is knocking it out of the park with affordable, everyday kitchen products and this chef’s 9” non-stick loaf pan is another winner for me. Right away the sleek, rounded edges stuck out (no pun intended) because it’s a more modern design for me. I have other loaf pans with the sharper edges and they catch on stuff or scratch and it gets annoying. I also love the carbon steel color of the pan. I made banana bread and it popped right on out once the bread cooled- no issues like I’ve had with darker loaf pans. Not to mention the price being reasonable. If you’re looking for an all around useful loaf pan, this is it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan performed very well! I made a cinnamon loaf and my oven turned off in the middle of cooking! Even tho the temp went down before I realized it and I had to reset the temp, the bread surprisingly came out baked and tasting good with a few extra minutes. I believe the pan helped continue to conduct the heat and saved it from ruining even tho it caved a little in the middle. The bread popped out easily with no sticking. I even love the pretty color of the pan and it cleaned up well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I recieved this pan, I wanted to try it out with my great grandmother’s banana bread recipe. I inserted the pan into the oven at three hundred and fifty degrees. I found that the cuisinart pan evenly heated which is very important for bread. Then came the test: was it truly nonstick? The verdict: it was!

This product, Cuisinart® Chef's Classic™ 9" Non-Stick Champagne Color Loaf Pan, has been disappointing. Problem 1: I ordered two of these as I bake 2 loaves from one large batch of dough. Consequently, I needed the 2 pans to be of same exact weight. But they actually differ by 16 grams. This adds weighing steps to my process, whereas i was looking to minimize and simplify my process. Problem 2. They are NOT nonstick! I make 100% sourdough rye loaves. The first time the loaves came out easily as expected, but subsequent bakes are getting stuck badly. I now have to use parchment paper liners, thus again adding extra steps to my process. Problem 3. Impossible to fully clean off the residue from the stuck loaf once it is released. They remain dirty, with visible residues of dark brown on inside of the walls. To summarize, no improvement vs. my old (cheap) aluminum pans which have no coating. Actually, the release is slightly easier from my cheap aluminum ones. Gave it 2 stars rather than one bc I don’t know how the pans would perform with wheat flour dough, so gGiving it the benefit of the doubt.

Definitely worth the $8. Baked some gorgeous banana bread today to satisfy my sweet tooth. Surprisingly heavy pan for the price and a cute color to boot! Cleans up very easily.
