Basic car seat, trouble with straps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It can be hard to get the straps straight as they tend to twist. Otherwise it works fine as a basic car seat. It’s slightly larger than I would like.

No go...
Car seat has a sleek look to it but my baby hated it. As soon i put him in he would start crying. His whole head was pushed forward. He is 21 pounds and 7 months but this was just not a good fit for us. When he would go to sleep his head would touch his chest. I was scared of constricted airways or something. Def going back. Switched over to the chicco fitme360

Amazing!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this several weeks ago and I’m really loving it so far. Installation is easy I love that it can grow with her. If you drive a Yukon or similar, it may be a little tight against the front passenger seat but that has nothing to do with the car seat! We actually bought it because we have been in a wreck with our previous car seat and it had zero damage! I recommend Graco to everyone. It is super padded more than the infant seats.

Practical but quality of material is very low. Material has ripped and haven’t even had it for a year.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the material on your TriRide 3-in-1 Car Seat has ripped after less than a year of use. That's certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Please check owner's manual for warranty information. Graco Team

not a good car seat
I did not like this carseat for my 2.5 year old. the straps are very hard to pull tight. the seat itself is slanted unless it's in a booster mode. I was surprised because I never had issues with greco car seats before. I returned and got another greco car seat

Dont buy, keep looking
Chin is on chest and the straps are so hard to adjust. Thankfully this is our backup car seat so we don’t use it often but pass on this one.

Hi Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear the TriRide has not met your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be when harness adjustments feel difficult and when the fit around the chin/chest area doesn't seem comfortable for your child. The harness straps may require occasional adjustment as your child grows, and we recommend reviewing the instruction manual to help ensure the harness and headrest are positioned correctly for your child's size. However, we appreciate your comments, as feedback like yours helps us continue improving our products. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. If you'd like assistance with fit or harness adjustment, our Consumer Care Team would be happy to help. Graco Consumer Care Team

Overall a really solid car seat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this for our 13mo for a month now and it works well. We have the SlimFit model for our 3yo and they are similar although this TriRide is different in a few ways. I do love that the cover comes off and is machine washable. It’s almost the exact same width as the SlimFit model, basically it’s the same width compared to the SlimFit with the cupholders opened on both sides. My baby was never a fan of getting in his infant car seat, but as soon as we switched to the TriRide to size him up he doesn’t cry or fight getting buckled up and seems very comfortable. One thing I’m missing is the weighted level feature. The TriRide only comes with a level line printed on the side that you basically just have to eyeball to be level to the ground when installing. Overall, a solid car seat and Graco as a brand have proved to hold up well over the last 3 years we have used their car seats.

Seat belt slot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seat belt slot (the holes on the back that you slide the buckle through when you're installing the seat forward-facing) are smallish & a little annoying to work with. Besides that little issue, we are very happy with this car seat!

head sit too far forward and seat depth isn't very deep
1 reply from Graco Consumer Care team - 2 months ago
Thank you for reviewing the TriRide 3‑in‑1 Car Seat. We appreciate your comments about the headrest sitting forward and the seat depth feeling shallow. The headrest is intentionally shaped to support proper head and neck alignment, though the angle can feel more noticeable depending on the vehicle seat’s slope and the child’s posture. Seat depth can also feel reduced if the seat is installed in a more upright recline position. Adjusting the recline within the recommended range often provides additional legroom and a more natural seating position. Your feedback is incredibly valuable as we continue improving comfort and fit for growing children. -Graco Team

Eh…not sure about this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this car seat can last through my child’s life using a car seat. Beyond that, I miss the infant car seat. It’s hard to get my 14 month old in the car seat through the door. It’s not particularly intuitive. I’ll have to YouTube how to loosen the straps because I can’t figure it out on my own. The graco infant seat is so much easier
1 reply from Customer Care team - 2 months ago
Thank you for sharing your experience with the TriRide. We’re glad to hear you appreciate how long the seat can grow with your child — that extended use is one of its biggest strengths. We also understand that transitioning from an infant seat to a convertible seat can feel like a big adjustment, especially when you’re used to the convenience of a carrier-style seat. Getting a 14‑month‑old into the seat through the door can take a little practice, and the harness system on an all‑in‑one seat does work differently from an infant seat. To loosen the straps, the harness release button is located just beneath the seat pad at the front of the seat; pressing and holding that button while pulling the shoulder straps forward will give you the slack you need. Many caregivers find that once they’ve done it a few times, it becomes much more intuitive. We appreciate your feedback — it helps us understand where families may need clearer guidance as they move from an infant seat to a long‑term convertible option. -Graco Team
