DO NOT BUY/ SMELLS LIKE FECES
Do not buy this rug!!! I wish I had listened to the reviews before purchasing. I received the rug and while it is beautiful, it has a very strong, pungent odor of cow manure/ literal feces. I reached out to Target to receive a replacement for the feces rug I received and their response was that I can either take the rug into a Target for a return, or bring the rug to ups to be shipped out. They are not replacing the rug. Again, the rug smells like literal feces. I am pregnant. I am not touching this rug because god knows what’s on it, and I cannot carry it myself and it will not fit into my car. So absolutely unacceptable of Target. So just be prepared that it you plan of purchasing, it will arrive smelling like feces and you will have to deal with the rug yourself in order to receive a refund or replacement!!! Insane. Target you should be ashamed of how you treat your customers and ashamed of the quality you are sending out!!!!

Dear lord the smell!
Yeah, it stinks. Barn. Camel. Idk. Take your pick. I didn't think it was too bad at first so arranged all the furniture over and around it. That lasted about an hour sitting on the couch and I couldn't take it anymore. It's currently in my garage hanging over a ladder seeing if there's a chance it will air out before I return it. My living room still stinks like it. It's contagious.

Love the size, texture, and look of this rug in our living room! It is so cozy and brings warmth to the space. It did have a strong smell upon opening.... but with some fabric refresh spray and time it has faded. Overall a great value (I had a Circle deal and used a $30 off $180) so very happy with the quality for price. Haven't vacuumed or had to clean yet so we'll see how that process goes...

I love the simplicity of this rug, it is truely a timeless piece. It is great quality for the price (bought during Target Circle Week). The rug is soft. Compared to what other reviewers experienced, my rug did not have an unpleasent odor nor was there any damage to the rug or spots or stains. I did run the vaccumnn over it once and did not experience any shedding. I have two active dogs and so far I have not seen any snags (fingers crossed).

This rug is absolutely gorgeous in person. The material is thick which gives it a richer look. The material is also soft, which is deceiving as the design appears to me to be rougher in texture. The only regret I have is not buy two of these while they were on-sale.

This rug looked very nice! No odor included. We definitely needed a rug pad for underneath, but unfortunately it is not aging well. With 2 dogs, there are soooo many pulls and stains and they’re very hard to get out…I think due to the way it is stitched, when you start to scrub it creates “pulls” and fuzzies. Definitely nice for a low-traffic area.

Wanted to love this!
The rug is beautiful! But I received a double whammy :( There was a huge black stain that seemed to be woven into the material. And even worse, the rug smelled like the elephant area of the circus. Not even exaggerating it literally made me gag. I wanted to love this rug!!

I was looking for a natural fiber rug and this listing says "Rug Material: 74% Wool, 26% Cotton" but the tag on the actual rug says it has nylon. It is pretty but like other reviews said, it smells like a farm. It also bunches up easily underfoot and overall wish I'd gone a different route.
