  • A: Yes, you can use Loving Tan Mousses and Gradual tans on your face.  See below our go-to tips for application: Tip 1: Apply a thin layer of moisturiser to your face, remembering to cover your ears and neck. This will act as an extra barrier stopping the tan from overdeveloping and clinging to the dry areas of your skin. Tip 2: Using a fluffy makeup brush, apply a small amount of the 2hr Express Mousse in circular motions. Remembering to blend down your neck, over your ears, and lightly into your hairline. Tip 3: We highly recommend rinsing the product off your face earlier than your body to prevent overdevelopment. After 2 hours gently rinse off with water and pat skin dry. The 2hr Express Mousse will continue to develop for 24 hours after rising. We recommend avoiding using moisturisers or oils, as well as swimming and excessive perspiration during this time. The Loving Tan range also includes a Deluxe Face Tan and 2hr Express Face Tanning Serum, which are both specifically designed for your delicate skin on your face and décolletage.     By far the best!

    Have tried many self tanners over the years and this is my fave. Easy application, very forgiving if it's not a great application by me. Color comes up fast and stays for a few days. Applying lotion seems to prolong. Love it

With just a little extra time management I can get my tan same day for an event. It looks natural, feels smooth and doesn’t have a strong smell.

    Wanted to love this

    While it worked perfectly & loved the result the first couple of uses, it was super messy afterwards. Tanning liquid would come out of the bottle and stain my hands often. Third or fourth use was very streaky.

    i wish i would have bought this sooner

    best self tanner ive ever used! i was iffy on buying this for years becaue its so expensive but its so worth it! its not patchy, dries SO fast, and has no smell at all! i LOVEEEE this self tan so much!

    I love it!!!

    I think this is better than the platinum shade. I am always using the darkest tan there is and this is so a pretty dark color and it really looks amazing on the skin. It also lasts a really long time and I love how it continues to develop over time as well. Definitely try this one!!

    Formula has changed

    This used to be my favorite but they have changed the formula. It comes out streaky, smells worse, and even looks more orange. Before it was never streaky & it looked like you legit just got back from vacation. Thats how natural it looked. Ill be looking for a new one sadly. Also, just bought this bottle. I gave it a second try. And epic fail. I want to add that i consider myself advanzed self tanner applier. Ive been doing it since 2012 so its not what im using skin care wise, prepping, or applying.

    Did not work

    I got this after reading good things about it, as i used a different brand and wanted to try an alternative. I took a shower and exfoliated as well as shaved and put on some moisturizer. The next night I applied the self tanner and slept in it overnight not only could I see most of it washing away in the bottom of the shower but after I did, just a gentle body wash and got out of the shower I was back to my normal color I would not recommend and it was a waste of time to even put it on. I do not think it is worth the price.

    My number tanner ever

    This self tanner is my one and only, my firsr pick every time. I never get splotchy when it fades, its long lasting, doesnt make me smell bad, and overall just looks great.

    Looked Like a Professional Spray Tan

    I am an avid spray tanner. I have always been terrified to apply self tanner and have always just gone to a professional spray tan artist, but with each tan costing $60-80, it was time to try this product that my friend raves about! I could not be more thrilled (and surprised!) by how good it looked. My only complaint is that it was not as dark as I usually go so next time I will probably leave it on for 4+ hours. I'm Caucasian and am pasty in the winter but get a pretty decent natural tan in the summer and "Ultra Dark" color worked well for me! So excited to have this super easy, more affordable option that I'm no longer intimidated by!

    This is it for me!!!

    I have been self tanning for years and the 2 HR express has changed the game for me. Formula is streak free, color is beautiful, and I haven't felt insecure about smelling like spray tan!!!!

    2 hour express is a crazzzxy claim. I put it on for 5 hours and my skin litetally looks no different than before after washing it off. Absolute waste of time and money DO NOT BUY THIS

    Splotchy

    The application was fine and the color was great given i slept in it for about 6 hours. The issue came like 2-3 days later when it turned super splotchy and my skin became unbearable dry. I was so itchy and i moisturize with Hemps lotion which is supposed to be great for the longevity of tanning results. It also does not scrub off easily so im going to be looking patchy for the next few days.

    It's ok

    I am an avid self tanner and have self tanned for 13+ years. I have tried Loving Tan before, but was kind of inexperienced at the time so i thought it was user error. I have seen so many good things about this product recently, so i figured i would give it a try again. I was really disappointed during the application process. The color is definitely dark. If you're very fair, use caution because even if you barley miss a spot or don't cover it with the same amount of product you do in areas nearby (like feet, hands) it will be noticeably different. The foam itself is hard to even out while applying as well. The bottle is very small for the price. Might be good if you plan to travel with it though! I'm going to try this product again, but I feel like I could get better results with BondiSands or another lower cost self tanner.

    Not worth it

    Ive been using this for a few months on and off, i dont self tan everyday; only special occasions. I used it for a valentines dinner, a few days later, i cannot stop itching. Its almost unbearable.

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My first expression with this tan mousse is very positive. The packaging feels premium and well thought to add a mitt in the package. The matt is soft and not rough at all. Although this is my first time using a self tan mouse. But it made my beginner experience nice and worthy. I love the fact that it has vitamin E and it’s well hydrating. The scent is not too strong

    Orange

    I have tried to use this tan 4 times now, using it exactly as instructed and every time it turns out insanely orange. I wash my hands off an hour in and they're the worst out of everything. And this is a tan that stinksss for a couple days after. I definitely dont recommend it for the price.

    Not Worth Your Money

    I was really disappointed with this self tanner. Despite being labeled "ultra dark," the color payoff was surprisingly subtle—definitely not what I'd consider ultra dark by any means. I even left it on for four hours instead of the recommended two, hoping for better results, but it didn't make much difference. The real issue came when I washed it off. It streaked badly on my legs and left strange water mark patterns that I've never experienced with other tanning foams. For the price point, I expected much better performance and a more even, deeper color. There are other brands that deliver far superior results for less money. I won't be repurchasing this one.
