Definite formula change
this was so hard to wash off my face without feeling like there was a slimy residue, and there was very very slight exfoliation that I felt like I really had to scrub hard in order to feel it which the purpose of exfoliating skin face wash. it definitely did not help my pimples or clear my skin so no it is definitely not as good as it was before so I think they're definitely was some sort of change to the formula of the product.

love this scrub. i have sensitive, acne prone skin but i can use this multiple times a week and it doesnt bother me. whenever i rinse it off i can feel the dead skin and build up it has removed. makes my face soft and removes dullness.

Not recommended
Would not recommend this product. After trying it a couple of times, I developed a huge breakout on my forehead — something I've never experienced before — and I couldn't get rid of it for a long time. My husband also tried it on his face because he had a blackhead on his nose, and he ended up with large pimples on his cheeks, even though he has never had acne issues before.

A pore-reducing champ!
As I have aged, my skin has gotten oilier and my pores have gotten larger. Like Tina Fey said, you could park a school bus in my pores! I’ve tried lots of niacinamide serums and other products, but this is the one for me. I’ve used up my first bottle and I have almost no blackheads remaining, and my pores look normal for the first time since college. It’s worth noting that I’m not great about routines, so I use this only semi-regularly and I’m still thrilled with the results. I’m picky about fragrances, and don’t feel that this product smells bad in any way, in contrast to other reviews. I don’t love the price point, but I am willing to spend the money when something works as well as this does. Will continue to repurchase.

Best scrub ever made for blackheads
I've always had large pores/blackheads and this scrub eradicates them. I have a very long history with acne/blackheads all through my 20s and having sensitive skin made it difficult to find a product gentle enough. This stuff is it. I'll never use anything else again. It's a little drying if you leave it on your skin too long so just be quick when using it.

I like this a lot. I purchased it with my own money. I use it more as a 2-5 minute mask in the shower than a stand alone cleanser. Preventive wise I think it really helps and my skin looks fresh afterwards. I would recommend this.

Bad product! Caused deep, painful cyctic acne
This product gave me the worst cyctic acne breakout out I have ever had!! I had a couple of pimples on my face and thought maybe I should incorporate a pore cleanser. After much research, I chose this product, and I regret it so badly. This stuff nor only irritated my skin but gave me the deepest, most painful cyctic acne I have ever experienced. I'm on day 3 of panoxy Benzoyl Peroxide trying to reverse the damage. I do not recommend this product to anyone, and if you do end up trying it, be careful! Everyone's skin is different so please patch test so you don't ruin your skin like I just did.

This product works for my skin. Sadly, I have seen the price gone up from $23 to $30 over the past few years. Can corporations help the working class and not charge exorbitant prices? You are pricing your customers out of your product.

I really like the Clinique Blackhead Solutions. I use it every morning and this keeps my pores free and helps to fight against blemishes. A big plus is this: This cleanser does not dry me out. It is for all skin types.

I am 75 - and unbelievably still have oily skin issues and breakouts along with sensitivity. I love the Acne Solution line but when I couldn't get the AS cleansing Mask, I ordered this. Within 2-3 uses as a Mask my skin started to break out creating little bumps on chin, nose and cheeks and forehead. Very strange but afraid to continue with it so will have to return. So hoping the old AS Mask will return soon!!!

Did not react well with my skin.
I received a sample of this, and it made my skin breakout by the next day. I have oily skin and it felt more oily the first day I used it, and I was broken out by next day in several places.

Doesnt work
This doesn’t work to remove blackheads. I have some on my nose and chin and this does nothing about it. It’s maybe good as a regular cleanser and exfoliates but that’s it.
