too complex and difficult to attach pieces
These are difficult to put together and the instructions are not clear. Even the adults in the family had a hard time with the instructions. Compared with a Lego set, there is no contest. Lego is intuitive and the pieces all snap together easily

Very cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this toy. They really enjoyed putting the pieces together to make something. It was a little challenging for my 3 year old but my 5 year old enjoyed and did great with building it. It keeps them engaged and they want to see the finished product.

Not so bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems complicated because how similar all the parts look to be. At first my son was having trouble with putting it together, but after some adult help he was able to build a tractor. He lost interest as soon as he built it. It makes kids engage in it a lot as it does seem more complicated for the targeted age. It makes them use their brain more, the best thing about it.

So much fun!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had completely forgotten about this being on the way, and it conveniently showed up on a lazy day at home! We spent hours reconfiguring and making new masterpieces! 10/10 would recommend!

Gears! Treadmobiles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of children who are constantly moving, this building toy was awesome. They could use their imaginations to build different creations. Educational, entertaining, fun, inspiring, are the words I would use to describe this set.

Fun building set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids, 4 and 6, had a great time with this set. The instruction sheet had 3 different builds and they were easy enough for the kids to follow themselves. They wanted to build all 3 right away, and it was easy to take the pieces apart to build again. The younger one needed a bit of help putting the tread pieces together, but he loved building his own creations and he played by himself for another hour after we had all finished playing together. They caught on right away to how the gears worked together, and it was cool to see them change the position of the gears to get them all to move. I had a really good time building this set with my kids, it was something that everyone enjoyed working on together. I would definitely add other sets to this one later on, to let them build other things, but they are happy to build with this set right now.

Great for builders!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old loved this! It's something he can build on his own, but is also fun to do with mom or dad. The gears seem pretty durable and everything fits together perfectly. The only small complaint I have is that the treads don't work that well. They don't really move around with ease. For a 6 year old, he doesn't mind.

Fun educational toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved trying this toy and building with the gears. He was excited to follow the instructions by himself and build the whole thing. He thought it was really cool. It took him a little while which was good. He stayed focused and was occupied doing something educational which was great. He loved playing with it after building it too.

Excellent idea, execution needs help
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the Tread Mobiles box my 8 & 6 year old boys were very excited. We did the first set of instructions with 2 adults and the 8 year old. The instructions are not intuitive and required both adults to figure them out. Examples of poor instructions include: Top gear in instructions is backwards. Missing instruction to insert black piece into gray piece. Didn't work properly using 19 links per chain on the vertical but worked great using 18. The horizontal would have worked better with a tighter chain but needed 19 because of distance. The pieces go together hard, it would be challenging for a 5 year olds hands to properly click it. The pieces are thick plastic and have withstood being thrown by our toddler well. When we allowed the older boys to free build with it there was greater success than the instructions.
