A: Hello! The design of the Pump & Splash Discovery Pond does not allow for a drain since the basin is not raised off the ground. However, the pump allows for water to be pumped out of the basin to empty. Best regards, Step2 Consumer Service

Great fun, however the pump is a little to advanced for my just turned 2yr old. No worries Daddy will help with that :) It was easy to assemble, as long as you read the instructions and have a screw driver handy.

Missing parts look under pond
If you are missing prices check under the brown pond, we couldn’t set ours up either because we were missing so many pieces and the company emailed me to look under the pond. Weird packaging but it works when you find all the pieces!

My grandchildren all love this!!! (ages 1. 5, 4, & 7) They love the ability to get into the pond. My grandson loves the streaming shower and pumping the handle. The little one loves to sit in the pond and to play with the tipping bucket. The oldest likes to pump & watch the water come down the curvy river and play with her little sister in the pond. Great water-play on a hot day.

Missing SEVEN pieces
We bought this for our son last Fall- for his birthday- it was too cold to use then. We just put it together and are missing SEVEN parts including the pump. . . missing parts E, F2, G, H, K, L and R. The toy is basically useless without these pieces. How can we get these missing pieces????

My granddaughter (2yo) LOVES this, and so do I :). It was easy enough for this grandmother to put together with just a drill and a few hours’ time (but that’s only because I don’t have great drill skills. Someone with more experience could have this together in no time). There’s plenty to do and explore, and lots of fun to be had for many summers to come.

Ordered this in Feb 2024… just unboxed it and the pump and several other pieces are missing.

Pump stopped working 2 minutes after getting it started
Fairly easy to assemble. Kids were very excited one I was able to get some water to siphon up. Then after about 10 good pumps, it died. Definitely not worth the money. Ours was too difficult for smaller children to pump and stopped working in 2 minutes. I would not recommend this. I've seen similar reviews.
