Quiet with no static! Perfect grind
This grinder is QUIET and that is fabulous. As avid coffee drinkers we have been through 3 burr grinders so far and this is the best one yet. NO STATIC!! The fro d is great and we are enjoying how art deco this looks as an added bonus! Put this one on your list, it would make an excellent gift.

Very competent grinder. It is a little noisier than my last burr grinder. I like the many dial-in grind options and I love the ability to grind directly into the Zwilling Enfinigy coffee maker brew basket.

A good, full featured, burr type grinder
The Zwilling coffee grinder is a high quality burr grinder, with adjustability to grind for espresso, drip pots, French press, or Turkish coffee. I like being able to grind directly into the filter basket of my Zwilling coffee maker, which fits into the base of the Zwilling grinder. This is a nice design feature which saves time, every morning. Take the time to experiment with grinding to find your favorite brewing ratio. Moving from pre-ground coffee to grinding your own beans is a transition that will require some tweaking of your brewing "recipe." Be patient, you will get it right.

Don't Buy
I've gone through 3 of these grinders and it has broken all three times after minimal use. Very poor design and really frustrating from a quality brand.

Doesn’t last.
Worked great at first. Now it only grinds in between pour over and drip. Cleaned it lots. Tried different beans. Same result.

Cannot handle oily beans
Like others have said, it clogs when you use oily beans. I only use Life Boost coffee, which is low-acid, organic, third-party tested for mold, etc.. literally the best ever! I go back-and-forth between their flavored beans and their dark roast, I had zero problems with this coffee grinder when I use the flavored beans however I cannot use my dark beans because each coffee batch is roasted immediately so they’re super super oily and fresh when they get to me and this coffee grinder cannot handle it whatsoever. So as long as you stick to, non- oily beans it’ll be fine. It looks good on aesthetically on my counter, however I do have to admit it feels extremely cheap because it’s all plastic. Another thing is there’s practically no directions for how to use this machine, but it’s pretty self-explanatory after going on YouTube. I have to bang and tap the machine multiple times to make sure all the grinds are out. Otherwise it will make a mess, as long as you remember to tap the machine a bunch of times it won’t be as messy.

Give it a grind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Zwilling coffee grinder. I bought the white one for my decaf coffee almost a year ago and love it. I decided to 86 my old coffee grinder that I was using for caffeinated coffee and buy the black one. It works great and I’ve love it. It grinds perfectly. I would highly recommend it.

Bad design, jams up and is difficult to clean
The grinder works well using a dry coffee bean but jams up if the beans are oily (I set the grind to 70 for drip coffee). It is very difficult to remove the upper grinder basket to clean. The grinds go through the machine and then through a small chamber at 45 degrees and jams up. Poor design.

Best Coffee Grinder yet!
