Hello, Thank you for your feedback on our Cleartex Advantagemat, we are very sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with this product. PVC can take up to 72 hours to unroll; we recommend leaving the mat in a warm environment and placing objects such as books or boxes on the corners of the mat to help the unrolling process. Unfortunately PVC is not an odourless plastic, if you are looking for an alternative mat which is odour free we would recommend our Cleartex Ultimat which is produced from high quality polycarbonate. Seems good so far, just a week
Just using near kitchen in tiny studio to keep carpet clean. May be more prone to cracking if rolling desk chair on it. V hard to unroll, took weights off, fine after 2 days.

Perfect For My Needs
I bought this to put underneath a plant-stand in my bedroom and it's the perfect size. Bedroom has carpeting and I don't have to worry now about getting dirt on my rug. It was a bit "curled" when it arrived but it was fine after I put a couple heavy things on top for 2 hrs. I didn't expect it to be hard plastic, but that's ok with me.

We do recommend placing our PVC mats in a warm room for up to 72 hours to help them lay flat after shipment. Cheap and cracking
Had the item for a month before the vinyl started to crack and tear in a few spots.

This mat is suitable for use on low pile carpets up to 1/4’’ including the carpet underlay, if placed on plush pile carpet the mat is less able to support its own weight which may lead to pressure points and cracking. Placing any stationary objects on the mat may also lead to cracking and would also void the products warranty. If you were looking for a more durable chair mat, we would suggest out Cleartex Ultimat which is produced from high quality polycarbonate. Would be a 5 if it stayed put!
Everytime I go to sit at my desk, yes, I mean EVERYTIME, I need to put this mat back in place. It's incredible the speed it can move! It's not fun chasing it around the desk as it keeps dancing away. The little "grabby things" don't seem to like my carpet. I would NOT buy this bugger again

While we cannot guarantee no movement, the mats grippers should help to secure the mat on your flooring type and reduce the mats movement. It may be that this is not the most appropriate mat for your carpet type, if possible please send some photos of your mat and carpet to our customer service team who can investigate this issue further. We also suggest placing non-slip dots on the bottom of your mat to help reduce movement, we do advise testing the dots on small portion of your carpet before use. Great mat, just not big enough
the mat didn't take long at all to lay flat. by the end of the first day it was good to go. there was a strong plastic smell when it first arrived, but that also went away quickly. it's a great mat, just not quite big enough.
