    more scratches

    We received a scratched tea kettle so they sent us a new one which we really appreciated, but that kettle had the top of the spout pop off and could not / would not reattach, so they sent us another, which looks great on the outside but is scratched on the inside. We're not keen on using a tea kettle that's scratched on the inside but feel bad about following up again for the warranty so not sure what to do. We like the products but we're zero for 3 on the kettles.

    Love it

    Quality is so much better than other brands what I have had in past. I was going through kettles every six months. Love the pot holder it comes with. Only wish it was just a little bigger. We’re big mug people. But other wise five stars!! Cleans super easy and looks so nice.

    Hot handle

    I have to say that this is a beautiful kettle, and the color was great! No issues there! I found out right away with the stickers on the kettle and directions that I would have to use a potholder every time I used the kettle. Strike one. Why would I want to make my life more complicated by adding a step to my daily routine and having the extra clutter? How many times would I have to burn my fingers? or worry about a guest using the kettle? Second problem was that the lid was extremely difficult to remove. I wasn't able to. I figured there must be some sort of trick to it, and I should read the directions but then I thought why would I make my life more complicated by having to use a trick every time I opened the lid? Turns out that it was just extremely tightly fitted and it should loosen up. More complications. I put it back in the box without having used it once. I have taken design classes and my instructor always said that form follows function, I agree. Why would I want a very expensive kettle that is a burn hazard and difficult to use? It's not worth the pretty picture.

    Wedding Gift

    I emailed in hopes of receiving something for my wedding. The Caraway team was so incredible and gifted me this tea kettle. My fiance has already used it 2 times for hot chocolate and I have used it for tea! It heats up very quickly and I love the sleek look to it!!!

    A work of art on the stove top

    Got the tea kettle in marigold so it adds a pop of color to my kitchen. It looks sleek and sturdy and works like a dream. I find myself wanting to boil water just so I can use it.
