Powerful and Convenient

Does The Job
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have to many trees in our little backyard.....10 in total. In the past I have hired a service to keep them pruned but that has become quite costly. Greenworks 6" Brushless Pruner Saw to the rescue. One tall ladder and this saw have made it possible to do the work myself this year. Very pleased with the light weight and the considerable number of cuts per charge. Should have purchased it years ago.

The safety lock is an important protective feature designed to help prevent accidental activation, so it does require a firm, deliberate press in combination with the trigger to operate. A few things that may help improve ease of use. 1. Ensure your hand is fully positioned on the rear handle so the safety lock can be pressed straight in before pulling the trigger. 2. Apply steady, even pressure on the safety button rather than a quick press. 3. Check that the button area is clean and free of debris, which can sometimes affect smooth movement. With regular use, the mechanism may also become smoother as it naturally breaks in. Great saw: Oiling made easy…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FANTASTIC. BEST tool I have ever had for our very extensive ornamental gardens. Just as valuable as our Felco pruners. I am 82 year-old avid gardener, along with my wife. I have a BSc in Ornamental Horticulture (think of it as Landscape Horticulture) from THE Ohio State University,1967. (I was a professional pilot, but our gardens are pretty impressive—all self designed, installed and maintained.😉) We have six ornamental gardens within our half acre property in a hilly northern suburb of Atlanta, GA. I have been using this great little saw a LOT to trim and deadhead trees. (Also have and recommend the 14” but it’s seldom used.) PRO TIP. To oil chain,ignore the instruction to oil before installing battery. Oil AFTER installing battery, by taking the saw to a very small area where you do not mind a little (VERY LITTLE) oil dropping. Hold the saw in one hand horizontally (sideways) and parallel to the ground to keep the oil spraying back towards you. Hold the oiler in the other hand. Turn on the saw (slow speed works well) and simultaneously apply a few drops to the saw. The oil will spread perfectly along the chain.
