The lids will break
Really great product idea let down by an awful lid design. It's borosilicate glass so goes from the fridge to the microwave or oven without melting microplastics all over your lunch, while still giving you a cool tray for the veg for your homemade slop bowl. But the lid. Two small plastic pins hold the latch on the main body of the lid. All of the clamping force goes through those. So they will break. It might be a month, it might be a year, but they will. Broken 3 of 4.

disappointed in snap handles
we bought a set of the glass salad bowls for connivence of taking to work. However a handle omn the rose colored one broke the first time we used it. THe second last about three weeks longer before its handle snapped off. Not pleased on how it wears. Like the concept of how it is put together biut a better mechanism is need for the handles so they are more durable and longer lasting

not durable lid latch
I have had two of these in two years and the lid latches break within 6 months with regular use. There is no replacement lid available. This is not a durable product

I love my Bentago box but the lid design is terrible. Bentago did send me a replacement lid but that lid also broke again.

Major design flaw on otherwise great concept.
Wonderful concept, but has a huge design flaw. The lid clasp is terrible and first one broke on second use. The clasp just hinges on plastic nubs which pop out super easily if you aren't extremely careful to be aligned to the mm. I have 4 and all 4 lids have broken clasps, only one of which I can still salvage to use.

Not durable
Great product until it’s not. The lid/clip & locking mechanism is not very sturdy. This is the second container that I have had the same issue with. And while replacement parts are offered neither a replacement clip/tab or the entire lid are not offered for sale separately. A lot of waste to have to dispose of and replace the entire lunch box for a little part that is poorly designed.

Lid breaks too easily with normal wear
Lid breaks. Not a good product. Replaced one due to the lid breaking, this one broke too at the hinge. Hand washed, was very careful. Poor design.

Lid is not functional
As everyone else says, I've been through three of these and the lids have all broken. The first lasted a couple of months, but after that, they each only lasted few weeks.

LID WILL NOT LAST - NEEDS NEW DESIGN
I've had 2 of these and the lid clasp broke exactly the same on both of them. They didn't last long at all either. I didn't use them all that often and took care of them as instructed. Poor design. They need to go back to the drawing board and figure this out. Other than the breaking lid issue, it's a great product.

Container is great but lid is terrible
I’ve gone through three of these because the lid clips keep breaking. Bentgo was gracious to replace my first one and let me know I should be handwashing the lid. Well, that didn’t matter because even just handwashing the lid clips broke again. I wish they would re-engineer the lid! And sell replacement parts.

Great salad bowl, terrible lid.
Love the salad dish and the insert - use it regularly. But the lid broke within 6 months. I have to use it with tape. I never put the lid in the dishwasher and only used it with an insulated lunch box. Need to find a replacement lid.

Lid snapped
I bought this bowl several months ago and love it. I’m a nurse and it makes bringing all of my food easy. The lid broke on the top so now I can’t snap the bowl shut.

Bentfo Glass Salad Container *Lid*
I've had this container for two months and have loved filling it up with salad to take for lunch. And then one of the flaps that locks on the lid broke. This lid is not available as a replacement part. I'm disappointed this no longer functions as intended.

They're awesome - until they're not
This container is AWESOME - until it's not. i bought two of these salad bento boxes a little over a year ago. I do not use them often - honestly, MAYBE 3-4 times each over the past year. BOTH lids have broken, rendering them unusable!
