The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar delivers exceptional sound quality that feels rich and immersive. However, the setup process was frustrating, as it took me nearly an hour to get it working due to repeated app crashes and failed connections with the TV. I had to reset it several times before it finally worked. In daily use, it sometimes disconnects from the TV at random, which means I need to restart the soundbar, adjust TV settings, or use the app again to reconnect. Overall, the audio quality is excellent, but the connectivity issues and unreliable app make the experience far less enjoyable.

This is an extremely poor a replacement for my lifestyle 25. Mine is in wall speaker wiring powered 5 dual codes, two ceiling speaker and base unit inside. Two mounted outdoor speakers controlled with its own remote. This 700 series has sound bar base unit and two Bluetooth speakers that I cannot mount behind me on the wall. The remote speaker sound is delayed without going to app which is cumbersome at best. I am extremely disappointed in this replacement product

Just fixed it up to the wall and added the rear mini speakers and we are good to go for movie nights in the autumn months. How loud do you want to go is up to you? The white wire housing is a bit too thin for us and I am leaving off for now as the wall isn’t white. I could paint it I suppose.

After seeing the name "Ultra" and the high cost I expected more. The sound is good, but not extraordinary. Particularly disappointed with the feature that's supposed to clarify the speaking voices. Even with that feature in use, voices are often still not clear.

I purchased my Bose Ultra Sound bar with Surround Sound and I am very happy with it. I have been wanting this for a while now. It sounds amazing. My only complaint with it was the surround speakers. After connecting them to the soundbar and using the headset that to help sink it, the volume was very low. It took me several hours of research to figure out how to fix them. Finally someone on a thread I found suggested rapping the speakers in a towel and then use the headset to sink it. Yes that did increase the sound of the speakers significantly. I really think it’s kind of stupid that you can’t manually adjust the speakers with the app. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase

I purchased an Ultra soundbar to upgrade from a Bose 600 which is very good, moved it to my bedroom.. I also purchased another Bose 500 Base which works great with either the Bose 600 or the Ultra.
