  • A: This unit does not, in fact, beep. The only sound it makes is the soft mechanical click of the automatic shut-off activating. I've used this kettle almost every day for an entire year, love it!

Seams heavier than metal

I like the single lever convenience, and the fast boil. However, it does not seem to handle water from the tap. It started to scale after a few uses. Does not seem to be non stick. Difficult to remove tea and replace tea infuser.

Toxic Plastic Parts

This product has toxic plastic in the lid. The smell in the lid plastic is terrible. The smell transfers to the water.

In my experience, these electric kettles need to be given a certain amount of time to figure out which ones are good or not. Aesthetically this one looks better than average. Will see what the performance is mid and long-term.

Hands down the best electric kettles on the market. I have 2, a larger 2L Chefman as well as smaller 1L Chefman electric kettle. I specifically brand shop for these due to such amazing previous purchases.

Easy to use

I already bought one to boil water for my coffe,tea and it’s so east to use.I bought another one to put it in my bathroom.I don’t want ro waste water in my faucet to become the water warm it takes take to become the water warm and waste a lot of water so my boyfriend gave me another electic kettle to save warer and not going down to the kitchen to use the kettle un the kitchen.a

Very happy customer so far!

So far it’s an excellent little kettle! We are British and very accustomed to using little electric kettles. This one ticks all the boxes - no plastic in contact with the water, strix thermostat, BPA free plastic, attractive design, good price.
