Honestly my best budget serum for hyperpigmentation! Super gentle in my skin, i've used The Ordinary's 10% niacinamide; left my skin super irritated… this only has 4%! Way gentler imo, it also has a fat soluble tranexamic acid(TXA). I've gone through 2 alr and i'm thinking of getting the jumbo bottle, totally recommend!

Noticed a difference in a week!
I have cystic acne and I tend to pick at it to release the pressure, which has left me with some intense hyperpigmentation. I live in the midwest, so as we head into the winter months, the air dries out and wrecks my moisture barrier. On top of that, I have a strict (and relatively intense) skincare routine to address my acne, which worsens the dryness and causes redness. I use a prescription retinoid, which has helped with the acne but has done very little for my dark spots. After using this product for a single week, I've noticed VISIBLE improvement in my dark spots, redness, AND hydration. I used to have redness on my entire face, but now it's localized to just my upper cheeks (which just looks like light blush at this point!). I have had NO flaking, so much so to the point that I don't even slug at night anymore. My hyperpigmentation has lightened enough that now, instead of my dark spots clearly looking like I picked at my acne, they look more like they could be natural birthmarks on my face. Despite my intense skincare routine resulting in relatively sensitive skin, I've noticed no rashes/breakouts as a result of using this product (make sure to patch-test anyway, just in case!). It has no scent, it dries within minutes after applying, and the price is hard to beat. I have raved about this product to everyone I know, so needless to say, I highly recommend!
