Great Functional LCD Screen Unit
Well engineered, well fabricated to Mount-it specifications. Coating better than standard powder coating. Wish slots on backplate were more towards center due to owner field condutions.

Works well but heavy tv is still heavy to lift
The mount works fairly well but requires a fair bit of force to put the 65" tv up and down. I had to install it a little higher than I expected in order to get it to clear the dresser I needed it to clear in the down position. But it works!

Almost perfect
The only issue is one that has been pointed out by previous reviewers. Some TVs have their mounting holes set very low on the TV rather than in the middle, and so I had to drill a couple of extra holes in the mount to account for this. Other than that, it works extremely well and operates very smoothly. It is very sturdy.

Poorly designed and looks awful
Not well designed at all--television sits way above the mount, so you can see a huge chunk of the mount itself. The television is crazy high as well. This is just not a well-engineered product and from an aesthetic point of view, it looks terrible. Get the Mantel Mount--avoid this one. Going to be a pain to return.

Do Not buy
Absolutely terrible product. The tension arm makes install a pain in the butt. Won’t go down even on the lowest tension setting. Springs right back up even while cranking on it. Do not purchase. Waste of money and your time. All you end up with is pilot holes in you wall. All instructional videos are worthless on the website.

Difficult to operate
Give 4 stars because it’s very difficult to pull down. The product video shows it’s very smooth to pull down and push up. But you need two person to safely push it back to its original position. Otherwise it’s working as expected

Not as Advertised
Tilt feature is a fixed position. Mount does not tilt forward or back at owner discretion. Its a fixed tilt that depends on how high the tv is in position on the mount. Additionally, TV will not stay at its lowest position. My TV weighs 35 lbs, and I've adjusted the tension to the lowest setting but still will not stay in the lowest position. I lower it and within the next 5 minutes it raises up by 6 inches.

High quality, some installation tips
Very happy with the quality of this product. Very strong and operates smoothly. I installed it to a brick fireplace. The instructions say use the provided paper template to mark the locations of the holes to be drilled in the brick. I found that the vertical spacing between the top set of holes and the bottom set of holes needs to be VERY precise. I found that it's easy for the drill bit to "wander" a little bit when drilling on the marks into the rough brick face the fireplace has. Drifting a bit side to side was not a problem. Drifting a bit up or down was a problem lining up with the bracket. I ended up drilling two top holes and then temporarily mounting the bracket to those holes, then used the bracket itself to locate the remaining holes on the top and bottom. I used a smaller drill bit to create starter holes, then removed the bracket and finished drilling the holes with the correct size drill bit. A little extra work but the holes lined up perfectly with the bracket and it's rock solid.

Fragile quality; Incompatible with Samsung S90C
Mounting holes do not match up with low VESA mounting location on S90C, one of the 2023's hottest TVs. Had to drill a new mounting hole in the bracket by hand. Furthermore, the threaded nut that the handle mounts to is poorly tack welded to the frame and broke when I torqued down the bolt to a light-moderate level. Required a trip to the hardware store and a new bolt, washers, and a nut to work around. In summary, this is not a great product for the price.

Worth the price
Easy install and solid product. It's so much more comfortable to watch TV not having to look up. Moves easily. We mounted our soundbar to the handle for ease of use.

Works as advertised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part of it is that it is adjustable to your liking! Would recommend having a total of 2-3 people to install it; otherwise, it is heavy and would be pretty difficult to do alone. It does stick out a little bit just because of its design for its functionality so if you’re looking for something that stays more flat, this may not be the best option.

I really love how easy it was to move the tv out and the mount was made of high quality materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works and it works great. It comes in all black. Very sturdy and solid and heavy, I was actually able to put it up by myself even though it took about a week because I had an operation on one of my big toes. It only took me about fourty minutes even with my toe still in a cast. It comes with very explicit instructions and all of the nuts and bolts that you need to put it over our fireplace. And I've never put together anything like this before. It even matches the color scheme in our living room. And though we live in Florida, where Santa Claus usually has to wear his bathing suit because it's always hot here, thank goodness we have had some cold weather where we actually used our fireplace. It also has a pulley where you can adjust it to the height that you want it to be at and that is also easy to do. We love this TV mount.

Perfect mount for the fireplace!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MOUNT- it Height an Adjustable Fireplace TV Mount with a Spring that makes hanging a TV over the fireplace work. It comes with instructions, but there is a video that will help you install it which is a huge help. My advice is to use two people because it's rather heavy and it makes installation go smoothly. Once it was in place my 70-inch TV was ready for the test. You can pull the TV down and push it up when you're finished. I am not sure how it works but the ease of using the up and down and tilt features is so smooth. You don't need both hands to do this with most mounts, this glides with really a touch of your finger. It's perfect for those who have a specific way of wanting to watch TV. My boyfriend likes it tilted and pulled down me I like it up and turned a bit. So we compromise and switch off while watching our shows. It is perfect for the wall above the fireplace or I don't see why you need a fireplace you could use this TV Mount on any wall. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for my high fireplace area
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a fireplace that has a space for the tv mount that is higher than 5 feet, and if I have a 72+ inch tv, i would need to mount my tv higher which means i will be looking up when watching my favorite show. With this height adjustable tv mount over my fireplace, i can pull down my tv and i am confident i will not get a stiff neck from looking up.

It was easy to set up and install and allows you to move the TV up and down so it's more easily visible. The max size TV that will fit on this stand is only 70" though so you want to check the measurements. One of the better TV stand we have.
