Salton Power Blender, 1000 watts, 23,000 RPM, 2 HP, 1.2 Litre BPA free Jar, Tamper Included, Black (BL1638BL)

Bought this about 3 years ago. The blade assembly broke away from the bottom of the blender jar. I suppose I have to find a replacement jar or toss the unit. Should've lasted longer than this, especially considering I don't use it everyday.

Takes about half a minute longer than Vitamix but does the same job of turning frozen vegies, nuts and fruits into super smooth, consistently creamy smoothies. Have been using this everyday (1 once a day average) for 3 months now without any issues. My family and I are very satisfied with this blender.

I purchased this blender three years ago after seeing a popular television show that compares different kitchen items with other brands. As far as quality for price, it can't be beat. I was especially happy with my purchase after contacting Salton regarding the jar that seemed to be making an unusual noise after almost 3 years of daily use. No questions asked, they simply sent me a replacement jar. Now that's what I call great after sales service! Thank you Salton.

After just 6 months of use, I noticed that my protein shakes were becoming bitter and dark liquid leaked from the bottom of the container. I checked the blender with clean water and it had changed the colour, apparently the same dark liquid that had been mixed into my food and smoothies all this time. The liquid in the picture was just water after blending for a minute.

Felt like a good quality blender and worked fine for a little over a year. Then one day the blade piece broke off. Impossible to find a replacement part. Going for a higher end blender with a warranty this time around

I use this mostly to make smoothies and puree soups and it's extremely powerful. Everything comes out super smooth without having to run it forever. I also loves that it comes with a tamp. Super helpful for making thick smoothies!

Built like a tank. Works reliably. Would anybody know where I can buy replacement clips for the cord at the bottom?

I am a big fan of this blender, works wonders.. perfect for making seasoning and pepper sauces :-) No regrets!

We have a small kitchen and I couldn't fit my old Vitamix blender on my countertop. I got this blender after reading about the power and was amazed when it chopped up ice like it was nothing. 10/10 would reccomend

The Salton Compact blender is an every kitchen essential! Love this product for every food event preparation. Perfect for blending fruit for my smoothies, mixing the ingredients for a batch of cookies, making hummus, and just about anything you can imagine! If i could, I'd give this product more than 5 stars!!
