Q: Can you use this as the moisturizer in a typical skincare routine of wash, serums, treat, moisturize? Or should this product be used alone?

A: Hi! Great questions. First of all, I would say definitely start with a clean face. You can apply your serums and such before the tanner. Use the tanner as you would a face moisturizer. You will want to give it 15-20 minutes before applying anything else on top. I recommend applying it at night before bed and sleeping in it. You will wake up golden! However, this is a self tanner that lasts between 3-7 days based on activity and application. I wouldn't use daily unless wanting a darker color after your first application.

Just the look i was hoping for.
I've been using Beauty by Earth for the past couple years. My doctor recommended I stay out of sun due to medical conditions. I missed the look of a suntan face so I decided to try this product. I'm so glad I did. It adds the perfect amount of color to my face. Highly recommend.

Gave me contact dermatitis
I do not have sensitive skin nor am I super pale, but this broke me out so bad I had to go to the dermatologist and was diagnosed with contact dermatitis. It took my skin weeks to recover. I didn’t change anything else in my skincare routine. I threw it away after one use. Sorry but I can’t recommend this product.

Really Great Product
I have been using this for a few months, I decided to try it based on other reviews. The reviews are right. Great product, moisturizing, easy to use, I purchased a mitt etc which is used to apply the cream. The smell is unusual but I have come to really like it. This product gives a very natural bronzed tan, the first time I applied it, it was subtle, but I have come to learn you just apply a second coat the next day. I put it on in the morning some people prefer nighttime, it takes about 15 mins before you fully dress. You then reapply every 4-5 days after that. Highly recommended, the product is comprised of natural ingredients, I am sensitive to things and I have no problem with this at all. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Natural looking tan/glow
I purchased this product as to decrease time in sun/tanning bed. This first two days, I wasnt sure it was working but by third day, I could definitely see "the glow". (I'm the one on left in pic). I use lightly, daily to keep my bronze & plan to throughout winter! Will definitely buy again!! Kelli

It will smell bad when tan develops.
This self tanner smells good when you first put it on , but after the tan develops, it smells bad like every other self tanner.

Works great, natural looking tan!
I think this might be my favorite self tanner I've ever used! It's the kind of tanner where you have to put it on at night and you'll see the difference the next morning. The lotion is white and has a great scent (even afterwards). I only had to use it for 2 nights to get the shade I wanted and it looked very natural. I love this brand and this tanner is my go-to now for sure.

It's nice & smooth & not scary to put on your face.
I was a little skeptical because I am so nervous about putting crappy ingredients on my face. This self-tanner was not weird at all. It had a pleasant smell & felt very smooth. It did not feel heavy at all. I had incorporated it into a little of my BB cream because it is a nice feeling cream. I feel like it made me look a little tanner (more as I used it a few days in a row.) It did not make me splotchy or strange colored.

This stuff is cool beans.
Seriously. It smells great, too. Note that it won’t continuously smell great - after some time, that classic “tanning” scent breaks through (it’s not unbearable to me and should be expected). Way better ingredients than most products out there. Price is great, too! Easy application and buildable over time. Make sure you’re working with a good base - if you have uneven color it’s likely because you didn’t prep. Been there! All in all this is a 5/5 for me. Several months later and it’s still awesome.

Good moisturizer
It smells fine and moisturizes good. Those are my two favorite things. It takes constant use and time to see an actual difference in color, I feel though. However, the color is more natural, so that’s a plus for sure.

May not be rosacea compatable
The product did add color to my face and did add somewhat more of an even tone...BUT.....if you have rosacea like I have it may flare it up. It did mine on the checks.

Turned my face orange even with a little amount
This product may work for others but it didn’t work for me I applied at once small amount and turned my whole face orange took me a week to get it off so then I thought I would give it another try and use even less product and it same thing happened to her in my face orange couldn’t get it off for a week for me it’s an awful product for others maybe it works wonders

Don't use moisturizer before applying.
The first time I used this product it worked great. I put it on in the afternoon and by that night I had a nice color. The color lasted about a week. The next couple of times I used it, I didn't get as nice a color and the color didn't last long. The next morning after using it at night, I used an astringent on my face and noticed that the tanning lotion was wiping off on my cotton ball. I figured out that was maybe because I was using moisturizer before I put the tanning lotion on. The first time I put the moisturizer on after the tanning lotion. I will try it again before I put the moisturizer on and see if that works better. I really like my results from the first use.

Great face tan!
Since Covid and masks, I wanted something that would give my face the look of having foundation on and this product works great! It moisturizes and provides the tan I need that does not get all over my mask! I have been using this product for several months and will continue to use it!

I have used quite a few brands of self tanning lotions and this one is by far the best I have used. The scent is light and nice. It's very easy to use and I have found with the face lotion that a little goes a long way. No streaks, very even, and the color is amazing! This is my new go to!

EXCELLENT TANNER !!
I finally found a Natural Tanner that doesn't look fake and contains the best non-toxic ingredients. I feel very good putting this on my skin and not having to worry about dangerous repercussions. I bought this because of the ingredients for the face.I love it! It creates some color- not orange- more like a light tan. I can darken this up with repeated using.I think the product is fine for my face, although I don't see it as a face cream, per se.I still use my regular moisturizers, etc.

Don't use as a man with any facial hair!!!
I'm a male... I've never tried anything like this before. A few reviews recommended mixing with a little bit of regular lotion (to "cut" the degree down a little). I have a beard -- I tried my best to only get the product on my cheeks, forehead, nose, etc (only exposed facial skin) -- I found that it's discolored my beard (and eyebrows). Turned by black facial hair a little more brown. The "tan" look is actually pretty good -- but as far as discoloring the places of my face with hair that came into contact with the product, I am really surprised. This was after 1x use. I would only recommend this product to a man that is clean shaven.
