I love this detergent. The 1 star rating isn’t for the product. It’s because I decided to have it shipped this time and (maybe due to the shipping) the pods are crushed. So many popped and now I have to take it to a store to exchange, which is inconvenient.

These packs as well as any liquid gel tabs contain PVA which is plastic. They dissolve into microplastics in water and pollute our oceans and earth as well as ourselves. What happened to the plain powder you used to sell?? That is clearly the most sustainable choice.

Does not dissolve and causes skin irritation
I had hope for these pods, but after trying them for multiple washes, they do not dissolve completely. I’ve tried them in cold water and even tested them in hot water. More concerning, I’ve noticed some irritation to my skin after using this product. This was the only change to my routine so it was without question that it what was caused the small itchy bumps on my skin.

Avoid... they dont melt.
Powder in packs didn’t melt even in hot hot water. I only had a twin fitted sheet, pillow cover, and cover sheet so it wasn’t a heavy load. After drying, folded, I grabbed them 2 days later to change the bed only to find big “clumps” of powder detergent

Great for sensitive skin but don’t dissolve well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is great and easy to use. I love how easy they are to use and they’re perfect for sensitive skin (also unscented). One drawback is that they don’t really dissolve well… I’ve tried both warm and cold water to see if maybe one is more effective than the other but they don’t dissolve well regardless.

Safe for sensitive skin and recyclable packaging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate these being made for sensitive skin. No fragrance and no dye is always nice when you have allergies or pets that you don’t want to expose to chemicals! We use these to wash our pet beds and blankets so our babies aren’t exposed to chemicals in normal laundry detergent — sometimes they like to lick their beds or blankets when they groom so this gives me a little peace of mind knowing they’re not ingesting our normal detergent. It’s also nice because they completely dissolve and the main package is recyclable as well!
