Courant 3.2 Quart Slow Cooker - Red

I'm 76 and my 7 Qt slow cooker has become too heavy for me to carry from sink to counter so instead I now use two 3 qt ones, one of them being this round Courant the other a popular oval shaped brand. I like them equally but for different reasons. The temperatures on the Courant's low and high settings appear to be higher than on both the popular brands of my 7 and 3 qt oval cookers, so food in the Courant cooks more, (but not too , quickly) for my purposes. On the other hand, the round base on the Courant holds less than an oval base of the same stated size, so if you want more of what you're cooking to lay flat ( such as chicken breasts) and aren't going to be around to shift things, you might find than an oval base model cooks the contents more evenly.
