Blah....not what i thought
I would put no starts if I could. Had no idea this book had super inappropriate material. It looked Hallmarkish which made me want to buy…..but further into the book it went a little too far with a love scene…..not impressed at all. I actually didn’t finish the book based on that. Would not recommend.

Kind of boring...
I read this because of all the hype on TikTok but yeaaa no the whole beginning of the book could have been knocked down a few chapters it took forever to get to the actual good stuff and by the time you got the good stuff the book was over?? Everyone says the cinnamon one is way better so I guess I'll read that one but then again this was a waste of money so I'm not so sure I'll actually get it unless it's free lol oh well back to looking for a great fall read because this wasn't it for me!

Poorly written dirty Hallmark story
I didn't know anything about this book but thought it looked like a Hallmark story. It turns out it is a rip off of that but takes place in a town full of people that think inappropriate thoughts all the time. It gives a weird vibe when you read it. Mostly because it drags a mediocre story out til they very end where they finally act on their thoughts.

I didnt really like it
The story was fine, it was the Main Characters crush I didn’t like. He was thinking of intimacy with the main character all the time, even during moments they were both in public. Was very off-putting I don’t recommend

Absolutely Not!
I searched high and low for this book and boy do I regret spending my money! Boring and juvenile. It’s not even as captivating as a teen romance novel. Unfortunately I do not recommend it.

Charming but Predictable
Laurie Gilmore’s The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is a cozy romance set in the idyllic small town of Dream Harbor, a place that practically oozes charm and fall vibes. From pumpkin spice lattes to autumn festivals, the setting feels like a warm blanket on a chilly day. The story follows Jeanie, a city girl turned cafe owner, as she navigates her new life while grappling with unexpected romantic feelings for Logan, the gruff but kind-hearted handyman. Their chemistry is sweet, and their banter is fun, but the romance itself feels a bit rushed and formulaic at times. What I enjoyed most were the descriptions of the town and the cafe - Gilmore’s writing shines in the little details that make Dream Harbor feel real. However, the plot lacks depth, and the conflicts are resolved almost too easily, leaving little room for emotional investment. The characters are likable but somewhat stereotypical, with Jeanie embodying the classic “big city girl escaping to the country” trope. If you’re looking for a light, heartwarming read with a Hallmark-movie vibe, this book will hit the spot. But if you’re hoping for a deeper or more original storyline, it might leave you wanting more. 3.5 stars - perfect for a rainy afternoon with a cup of coffee in hand, but not something that will stick with you long after you turn the last page.
