I REGRET THIS PURCHASE
Very difficult to operate, and the “LOC” feature is a nightmare. It’s useful only to re-heat, but can’t even pop a mini-bag of popcorn. I should have spent more and bought a decent one. You get what you pay for.

Please be informed that the two step locking mechanism is a new mandatory UL requirement on all countertop microwave ovens sold in the U.S. Child lock can be deactivated by pressing and holding 0/UNLOCK key for 3 seconds. The display will indicate "Loc". Then, press 7 key followed by pressing 9 key. The display will show "ULoc".

Trust me, Spend the extra $10-20. This thing is AWFUL
Needed something cheap to hold me over while we are going through a kitchen remodel. I should have paid better attention to reviews but this thing absolutely sucks. First of all, good luck opening the “safety” door. Apparently microwave doors lock now. Didn’t even realize this was a thing. So while I understand it’s a safety feature, it also is apparently an adult feature as well and most can’t get it open either. There are so many times when my food is practically stuck in the microwave because I can’t get the door open because the lock won’t release. There’s an unlock button that you can push and it works maybe 60% of the time. Sometimes I need to stop the microwave while it’s going and I am unable to do so because there is something malfunctioning and I’m not able to stop it from heating or open the door. It’s bad. ALSO, 700W means you need to double the cooking time of everything that you put in there. Something that normally takes 30 seconds needs at least a minute. My fault for not even seeing that when I bought it so I don’t blame anyone for that. But the absolute nightmare it is to open the door is a joke.
