    It helps start the day

    New Honeywell 9000 Thermostat

    I recently replaced my 13 year old Lenox thermostat with a new Honeywell 9000. I had to change some wiring since the Lenox thermostat was a "communicating" thermostat. It works well now. My only disappointment is that the TCC app on my phone cannot cancel or modify the vacation schedule. My Lenox could. I miss that capability.

    It's good so far.

    It's aesthetically nice, easy to install, and does the job. I wish it had the auto function, where it will turn on heat if the temperature goes below a certain level, and A/C if the temperature goes above a certain level.

    Pretty nifty

    The thermostat works exactly as described with one huge material flaw. This does not work with the Google home ecosystem. Period. The box is misleading. (Yes the marketing department lied) There's literally no app for north America that works with the Google home ecosystem. Not sure about Alexa,

    pre schedule cool down

    disappointed in this thermostat mostly one feature pre cool down. the thermostat starts cooling down house half hour before schedule . with no way of turning it off.if i wanted to do this i would have scheduled it that way. other than that works as described.

    My first smart home device

    Installation went well as I had all the wiring needed in place, this will be an issue for some. The website gets busy and won't load sometimes, especially in the afternoon. I use the app way more than I thought I would, I never touch the thermostat.
