Awkward
The size and shape really detract from its usage. Because of the half circle shape the edges taper off so you can’t fit decent sized thing in them, so the edges are really wasted and in useable space.

Lid doesn't work
Ordered three 6L cans (one gold and two stainless steel silver). The soft-close lid didn't work on one of the cans. It had to be pushed shut. That feature is pretty much the only reason to pay so much for a trash can. I don't want to worry about pets getting in and making a mess. I was very disappointed.

It's definitely a good product, but I didn't realize that by the very shape of it, how small the container would be. If you are emptying it out every day or not using it often, then it suffices. Still think that Simple Human makes good products!

Love the Gold Color .
I was so happy to see them offer trash cans in gold. I have brushed gold hardware in my guest bathroom and this fits in perfectly with my decor. A big selling point for me for their trash cans , is having the bags attached inside for easy replacement of their bags. The step works flawlessly which is what I expect from this company. Very happy with this product

Sleek and Esthetic can for Master Bathroom
I am very pleased with this semi round trashcan for my bathroom. It was hard to choose between the brushed stainless and the black stainless. But the brushed stainless matches the rest of my fixtures. It opens and closes very smoothly. The only negative is the recommended B Liners are very thin and a tight fit. I was afraid I was going to rip the bag . I decided to go with C liners instead because they are a lot thicker than the B Liners. . They are a bit large, but the excess hangs over the rim pretty good.

The only step can that work
I looked at many small step cans from different sources, and they all tip when you step in the pedal. These ones work perfectly and are also sleek and attractive enough for any bathroom.
