Great smell
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Athena deodorant is better than most of the natural deodorants. I love that it is free from aluminum and it glides on really smooth. However, it doesn't prevent sweating as much as other deodorants.

Do not Buy!!
I would not recommend this product!! After using for a few weeks I notice my underarms were getting dark and notice dry spots looking under my armpits. Does not help is you suffer from sweaty armpits at all and I had to re apply this product a few times a day.

TERRIBLE!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND! I don’t know what they put in this mess but it tore me up. First time a deodorant has ever given me a chemical type burn. My pits are screaming. It’s very red an started peeling this morning. I have only been using it a few days. I went out on a whim and tried this one as my normal deodorant was out. Terrible idea! I posted pictures of my pits, don’t mind all the hair, I can’t shave them right now because these heifers are sore.

If you are thinking about buying this DO NOT! It gave me the WORST CHEMICAL RASH/BURN ever after only using it maybe twice. TARGET SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THIS ITEM... and I will be reaching out to corporate. After reading other reviews it's seems like this sort of reaction is common in other people who bought. off putting scent.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The bright pink packaging is very eye catching. I could not get behind the smell. It was a bit irritating as a way to describe it. Once it mixed with my underarms, I thought it bought out more of a nasty smell. I also found it a bit expensive for a deodorant.

Doesnt work
I normally buy Lume deodorant but bought this on a whim. The pink packaging is cute and caught my eye. I thought the scent was nice inside the packaging although it does not last while on. I found myself reapplying this multiple times a day which is not something I have had to do with any other deodorant I have ever bought. This actually made me smell worse than my pubescent teenagers. It literally gave me BO. I had to stop using it. As soon as I stopped using it the BO is gone. I read some other commenters saying the same thing. I do not recommend.

Smells Mostly Like Mandarin - Wish It Were More Vanilla

The scent is definitely more mandarin-forward than orchid or vanilla. It’s not my personal favorite, but it’s pleasant enough that I could live with it. I probably would’ve preferred it to lean more vanilla-forward for a softer finish. At $9.99, the price feels a little steep for a deodorant in my opinion. I haven’t used it yet, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness, but the formula claims 48-hour odor protection, which is promising.
