Disaster

I ordered and reserved this video game earlier this week for in-store pick up. For Thursday as I needed it for our gift exchange on Friday. I later received an email that they just sold, obviously selling the game I had reserved. I had the option for delivery saying it would be delivered today. I just received an email again saying the gift won't be here until Saturday. If they didn't sell the game I had reserved all would be well. Instead the gift won't be here until after our gift exchange. This has been a huge inconvenience and very poor service.

Daughter disappointed on Christmas Day

Ordered Sonic X Shadow Generations for NINTENDO SWITCH on December 18th. Target's website claimed on the product's page that that if I ordered it within 8 hours, then the item would arrive 3 days later on December 21st. Ten minutes later, after ordering the game, the shipping date then showed December 24th. Surprise, surprise! When the game finally DID show up, on Christmas Eve, it was extremely inconvenient as I live in an apartment building where it is very difficult to receive packages if I am not at home. When I got the package inside and opened the box, IT WAS THE PS5 VERSION!!! Not that target cares WHATSOEVER, but I'm sure that you as a customer, or your excited loved ones, may INDEED care whether or not THEY CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT! We are a very low income family, which is of course, not target's fault, but this was my Daughter's big Christmas present from me. She understood that it wasn't my fault, but was still saddened to the point of needing to hold back tears. See, target will tell you WHATEVER THEY NEED TO, to get that order in and take your money. Whatever date you need it by. Whatever system you need it for. They got it covered. Only they don't. They do not care about their customers. Sonic X Shadow is still a good game which is why I still gave it 3 stars, but DO NOT order this or any other game online from this soon to be extinct, brick and morter, waste of space. Thank you target, for the lies about shipping dates that you cannot fulfill. Thank you for completely incorrect inventories of what you ACTUALLY HAVE in stock, just to guarantee another sale. Target, if you cannot HANDLE online sales STILL, after all of these years, and your system cannot accurately reflect the stores stock and shiiping dates in REAL TIME, then DONT SELL ONLINE! Leave that to someone more competent.🖕

Target sucks

I ordered an item through target.com and they charge me the cost of the item and said it would be ready in 2 hours for pickup and 2 hours later I got an email saying that the item is out of stock and my money could not be refunded for 1 to 5 business days and today is Friday before Christmas on Wednesday so they said I may not see my money for as long as 10 days. Target is horrible and I will never shop with this company again ever.
