I could keep it warm and there was enough room to have all of the hot items in here together for the party. I can definitely see using this when I'm trying to make a meal that can be cooked together in one pan so there is more room to work with than a large standard skillet.

It is also the perfect size, plenty of room for all you need to put in it and it has nice high sides so you don't have to worry about anything spilling while stirring or grease popping out, etc.

I have used it to make fried chicken, bacon, sausage, and eggs over easy. Everything came out great. This electric skillet is the perfect size. It holds a whole cut up chicken with no problem. I love how quickly it heats up and how well it maintains temperature. With the non stick surface, cleanup is a breeze.

Everything cooked extremely well and it only took about 20 minutes. The skillet cooking area is large and would be great to cook for a big family or for a party. The skillet cleaned up well afterwards as well.

I have used it for cooking as well as for roasting and in both cases results have been simply delicious. The size and capacity of this Skillet is exactly what is needed to prepare food for a family of 5, like mine.The non-stick material works perfectly, which makes the cleaning process much faster and easier and at the same time food waste is avoided. I specially like the lid because it is made of a very resistant transparent glass and that allows to see and to check the level of cooking of the food and to be able to control it easily.

I was able to cook ham steaks on this for family dinner and took no time as all. Surface inside is not smooth, so not great for scrambled eggs or anything that would stick. Surface is rugged though as I was able to use metal tongs in it. Clean up was easy. Heating elements are strong as was able to cook at a lower setting and it heated up quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this Electric Skillet. This is an 8 quart, Elite Platinum Jumbo skillet. It has an easy-pour spout on it and came with a glass cover lid. What I enjoyed most about this skillet is that it has a thick aluminum body. It is actually well made and not flimsy at all. A very nice, sturdy skillet in general. It also has a non-stick stone finish, so clean up is very easy. Just wipe it and the stain residue literally comes right off. The body of this skillet makes heating faster on it and the heat speads evenly throughout your food.. so your food will be cooked all the way through, not just in one spot which is nice. You can cook eggs, sauces, soups, sausage, sears, fries, grills, roasts, stews, hamburgers, steaks, even sauté vegetables on it. You can literally cook just about anything on this skillet, which makes dinner time actually fun (for once) and makes dinner time easier on you and for the whole family. Will definately recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

It's so easy to use and the instructions are so great! They come with some great ideas of things to cook in it! I have cooked casseroles in it a few times and it's just amazing. I love that I can do it all in one skillet and it cooks so good. There's no sticking and it's so big that there's plenty of room. The lid is heavy duty and has the little hole to vent. It's such a great product. We also love cooking our breakfast in it and just using the one skillet and not having to use different pans to cook each thing. We love cooking it in and still have it sitting on the counter because we use it all the time. Making gravy in it and having the easy pour spout is genius! I can't say enough great things about it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This super heavy duty Deep Dish Non-Stick Grill/Pan is so awesome! You can pretty much cook anything within it. One of my favorite meals is fried chicken. Instead of getting the heavy cast iron out I just bring this grill out plug it in and wait nearly seconds for it to get up to temp to start heating the oil. The lid make it easy to not get burnt with the flying grease and easy to see what's going on while it's covered. The non-stick coating makes it an easy clean each time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I did The deep bowl and the large size make it ideal for cooking just about anything. What I really liked was the heating element. Instead of the normal 2 sided burner, this burner covers the entire bottom of the pan. No more burnt foods on the outer portion of the pan, and under cooked foods in the center of the pan. I highly recommend this skillet!
