Description

Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb)**. It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

  • A: It is not about the age, it is about the weight and height of the child, and if the shoulder belt sits correctly against their anatomy. If the child is 12 but only 40lbs and 40inches, they still need to be in a booster. Each state is different on exact laws, so please check with your pediatrician and state laws.

Noisy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this exact model in 2023. A piece of it broke so we got a new one. When nobody is it the seat it the head rest rattles so loudly and annoyingly. It gets 4 starts for safety but I had to deduct a star for how noisy the new one is compared to the old one.

Son loves the Extend2Fit so much he falls asleep

He loves being able to look around at his surroundings and falls asleep more in the car as he seems more comfortable. I rated 4 stars only because his head slumps forward more than in his other car seat.

Cozy seat

The color options are nice but i will say that i wish this one an the 4ever extend 2 fit had the snug lock. I love it on my sons 4ever grow seat. I think you guys should do the 4ever extend2 fit with the grow panels. My son loves his 4ever grow as the panels give him more space. My 2 year old is bulky an i think this would be great on both the 4ever an this seat.

Great features and comfort!

My favorite feature is the little pockets for the straps, which make getting them in the seat so much easier and avoids having to dig underneath them for the straps. Our 14 month old seems so comfortable in it and frequently takes car naps!

Perfect for our 95%ile baby!

Our baby was instantly comfortable and has room to grow before we even transition to forward-facing. Installation was clear if slightly fiddly and it's a bit heavy--probably not the best seat if you need to regularly move it from car to car.
