Description

Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb)**. It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

Q: Until what age can a child use this seat ?

  • A: It is not about the age, it is about the weight and height of the child, and if the shoulder belt sits correctly against their anatomy. If the child is 12 but only 40lbs and 40inches, they still need to be in a booster. Each state is different on exact laws, so please check with your pediatrician and state laws.

Not for escape artists or sensory kids

This car seat is narrow and we had no trouble putting it in middle space in Ram crew cab with plenty of room for an adult to sit for an out of town trip with another child. However, my daughter absolutely HATES this car seat. She has complained since day one that it is “tight” - she is 2 and is tiny - weighs 23 lbs - it is not too tight. She has never had an issue with the other 4 brands car seats she’s used. On this one she pushes down the chest plate and easily pulls her arms out - no mater how it is adjusted. She does not do this in any of the other 4 car seats - doesn’t even want or try to - always happy to buckle in - just not into this one. To add to the annoyance the belts twist in the lower holders. Hate it. I got it on sale, during trade in, but now I wish I never bought it & since we used it on a trip, it is too used to return.

Top notch!

The Extend2Fit checked all of our boxes on safety and features. This car seat was easy to install and the tilt handle on both sides makes it super easy to adjust and ergonomic. We needed 2 car seats so that we could have one for each car and the sale ended up allowing us to purchase both at the same time without breaking the bank. Our baby always looks super comfortable!

Not great positioning, not safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed fully to recommendations and instructions, but still doesn't have great positioning. 8 month old baby often flops head forward when sleeping, which shouldn't be possible if the car seat is positioned correctly. I definitely wouldn't recommend this, especially for a newborn.

If you have limited rear legroom...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ...this is the rear-facing car seat for you. I am 6'2 so I struggled to find a seat that would work for my driving position, even in a reasonably large SUV. This one fit the bill, and our daughter seems to like it. No rattles a plus too.

the grey color of this carseat shows every little mess and its horrible to take apart and clean. other then that it's a good seat. if I could go back and get something else though, I would. All the 5 star reviews are from promotions. we can't even rely on other people's advice because it is swayed by profits it's really sad.

Loveeee it!

Love this car seat

Dont buy these

Wow. The worst car seat. It’s not easy to install. The cover is not easy to remove either to wash….. when it’s for babies it’s gross this should be simple. It’s hard to tighten the straps because the lever is hidden in a hole under the seat. Excuse me what. I am so upset. I bought two of these and it’s just a waste of money.

Wish I could go back in time and get this first!

Straps are way easier toadjust and the adjustments stay as opposed to the safety first which the belt would constantly get locked up for us. Wish I could go back in time and get this car seat with my first! Very easy to install in the car with intuitive directions. Baby looks very comfortable and love the adjustability of the seat to keep it level.
