I had read great reviews about this DVD player and though I had purchased it about a week ago, tonight I finally got around to setting it up…something was super easy. So easy I skipped the instructions it came with. I began watching a DVD without reading the instructions, also…not really clear how to watch a video but intuitively I was quickly able to do so. The player worked great. So far I am quite pleased with it! It seems as good as the reviews I had read had said it was.

Don’t know if this works or not. It was sent in a box with absolutely no padding whatsoever! There are delicate parts inside a Blu-ray player. It may work, but I guarantee it will have a shorter life span than normal because of the way it was shipped. Extremely ticked because Blu-ray players are hard to find. Will be returning.

Won't Play 4K or Ultra HD
Not familiar with blu-ray players? Neither was I until I thought I had a bad blu-ray disc. Wasn't the disc, it was the Sony BDP-S1700U player. This player will not play 4K or Ultra HD blu-ray discs. No kidding. Well, why do I need this player then? I don't. Know what you're buying before you need to return a useless dvd player.
