Description

Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb)**. It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

  • A: It is not about the age, it is about the weight and height of the child, and if the shoulder belt sits correctly against their anatomy. If the child is 12 but only 40lbs and 40inches, they still need to be in a booster. Each state is different on exact laws, so please check with your pediatrician and state laws.

Q: How quickly or easy is it to put the car seat from rear to forward facing is it a quick process if my child falls asleep can I go from forward to rear? Does it have to be re threaded?

  • A: The mode of the car seat should only be used in one mode as they grow. You should not be turning the child back and forth. The childs weight needs to be required for rear facing and then as they grow when they are in the required weight it can be turned forward facing. Easy to Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this for about a month and it replaced a previous car seat from another company. Was hoping it would provide additional room for my growing toddler and it appears to do the job. It does not seem to have as much cushion as our previous seat and it is a bit more difficult to buckle in my opinion but it has provided a new 'excitement' (for now) for my car hating toddler and that's enough to make it worth it for me. Overall, my kiddo doesn't seem to prefer one over the other and this seat has been working fine. It was easy to install and we have not had any issues.

Comfortable, Safe, and Easy to Fit!

One of our favorite features is being able to extend out the rear-facing legroom, it gives us so much more peace of mind keeping our child rear-facing longer while still staying comfortable. Easy to install as well which is a plus! It also fits really well in our RAV4 without taking up an insane amount of space, which was a huge plus for us. Easy to adjust, comfortable, and definitely worth it! 💕

Love the infant to toddler features!

We like that our child can sit up well in it based on the manual safe zone. It’s great that you can use it starting with an infant and so on, no need to buy two different car seats.

Good, but not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the car seat for a month now. Really like the extra leg room, without it our 1 year old just kicks and gets frustrated with the seat in front of her. Pretty easy to install, wish it was a little easier to tighten it to the chair, but that’s a minor inconvenience. Probably the biggest complaint is to loosen the straps to get the baby in and out, you have to reach through a hole in the material to find the button to release the straps. Took us a while to find and figure out, and still not convenient.

Graco for the win!

I did a lot of research on so many car seats because I wanted my baby in a good seat that had done well in the safety testing. This one met those standards and then some. My girl has had a rough start at life and at 19 months old she’s just now 16 pounds, so I truly wanted a safe ride for her. So far she loves her new seat. It’s roomy in the body area and the head area. The design of the seat is very well thought out. I personally love the extended rear facing with extra leg room. The seat seems to be very sturdy. It doesn’t shake around or rattle. It’s extremely easy to install both rear facing and forward facing (just testing it out). The straps on this seat are hassle free as well. I definitely recommend this seat. Also, while this seat isn’t cheap it’s also not the most expensive on the market and offers just as much comfort and safety… if not more.

Installation was ok, though my husband recommends watching a YouTube video as the installation guide wasn’t very helpful. Car seat looks good, seems comfy, but it always take a while to strap my son in as the straps take quite a bit of adjusting.

Excellent car seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is bulky side to side. I have a small car and I am unsure if Ill be able to use the extended leg room in the future. I like that it has exetended weight limist and seems comfortable. The pockets on the side for the buckle do not hold the clip buckle in for easy storage as they are fit to do. They are not big enough and the buckle just slides right out.
