It’s okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my review. This product name is accurate - “a hint of black” - because it’s still quite light, just not white like regular dry shampoo. You can see in the photo (pre-brushing, don’t judge lol) where I sprayed the product. It brushed out nicely once absorbed into my hair, but some of the color residue was visible on my skin around my hairline. My hair felt really stiff after using - I don’t expect my hair to be soft after using dry shampoo, but it was notably stiffer after using than other dry shampoos I’ve used

Good dry shampoo but has some color transfer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the better dry shampoo I have tried. I have dark brown hair but the black still works. It soaks up the oils without leaving to much residue. It can leave some color on your hand after massaging in the scalp.

Great color and formula
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first tinted dry shampoo I can still use before I go to bed at night and I don’t wake up with it everywhere. It absorbs oil and allows me 1-2 days longer between washes while also touching up my roots between appointments. The spray nozzle is precise allowing you to target your roots and not apply dry shampoo everywhere. Batiste will always be my go to dry shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings for overall I am giving 4/5 star rating for this one. It does what it’s supposed to do and has a big bonus for black hair. It absorbs oil really well, adds volume and black tint blends in so well compared to a regular dry shampoo. I especially liked how it helped my side part line look less visible, which is a nice plus. The downside is that it definitely transfers. When I was massaged it into my scalp, the black color got all over my hands and even a little on my forehead, so I had to touch up my makeup. It can also make the hair a bit heavy and less silky , which is something I noticed with most dry shampoos. Overall it works well, but I would suggest applying it before doing your make up and definitely washing your hands afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Batiste brand for years now. It works really well and smell really good. But I was so excited when I saw they had one specifically for black hair. The spray is great, the smell is amazing. Smells fresh and clean. You can really notice a difference when I use this product. The oiliness is fine and I have more volume. Only downside I noticed was that the black powder can leave some residue on the hands when you rub your fingers through. Easily washed out but not really something I want to experience. But I will continue to use it and just be more mindful about fussing with my hair. Still recommend.

Impressive and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never tried a Batiste hair product before. For reference, I have dark brown hair that gets greasy within a few hours of washing it. I have tried a bunch of the higher end brand dry shampoos. They NEVER helped to cut the greasy look from my hair for more than 5 minutes, even though I used a ton of it. This product however was a game changer. A few sprays lasted me all day and kept my hair looking fresh. It gave me great volume too which is nice. The color blended beautifully with my hair, without giving me grey steaks. I love the applicator as it allows me to really target a specific spot. It has a pleasant scent but it can be overwhelming at times if you apply too much. The price and availability is incredible. Since the product is tinted, I did have to wash my hands after moving it though my hair with my fingers- as it left residue on my hands. I also wish there was no benzoin in the product.

I have used this multiple times but I feel like it doesn’t clean make my hair feel clean as much. I will continue to use but u prefer the clear one. It does help with the oil absorption a bit.

Finally great for my hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dry shampoo actually doesn’t come out black. It’s moreso for those with black or dark hair so that you don’t see the product on black hair. The typical dry shampoo leaves a white residue that can be challenging to get rid of especially when you’re in a hurry and trying to look clean…fast! It’s not sticky and it makes my hair feel refreshed. After you spray it, you just need to massage it in as if you’re washing your hair. Try and get to the roots if you can.

Though it doesn’t mention it being scented, it has a little bit of a sweet vanilla scent which I really liked. Only downside is it says there would be no white residue but there was on my hair which easily blends when brushing. Otherwise it works great on greasy hair!

However, when rubbing it into your hair you will get some coloring on your hands and if it is sprayed anywhere else (sink etc) it’ll leave some coloring there

Great dual purpose product when you have stubborn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with dark hair and unfortunately some greys coming in, this is literally the perfect product! It is a two for one- dry shampoo and root touch up. The best part is its mess and transfer free. I used the color black for my dark brown hair and it matches seamlessly. I will definitely be continuing to use this in my routine and am really pleased with the immediate results. A lot of dry shampoos leave a weird grey or white cast on dark hair, so this is a great change up. The precision applicator also lets me pinpoint where I need more coverage.

It helps the oils in my hair on day three hair, I like that this product is black for darker haired women/men. I am always left with the white residue in my hair and it looks like baby powder, you get the same effect but no white cast. Easy to use and lasts for a day on my hair, I use a generous amount
