This product is really easy to use, I only used it one time so far but it was 3 days ago and my nails still look perfect! I do put them under the light for a little longer than it says to, just to be safe! The color does take a few coats to show up how I wanted it to but that’s totally preference! (& For the review stating that they had a reaction, make sure you’re not curing the polish when there is any residue left on your skin because it could cause a reaction.)

Beautiful color - takes some oractice to apply
Goes on very thick and the brush makes it hard to apply neatly. But once it’s on and cured it’s the most beautiful milky jelly pink and my nails feel so much stronger. They’re not flimsy and bendy after just one application and a gel top coat.

I would pass on this.
No matter how thin or thick I put this one it wouldn’t work. Says it cures in 2 mins but was still tacky. Even after trying to wipe with alcohol I still had to cure. It doesn’t cover evenly and started to pill up after 10 mins of finishing them.

Hi! What you’re feeling is the inhibition layer, which is normal with gel. The Builder Gel polish will stay slightly tacky by design so each layer can properly adhere to the next. Within 24 hrs after applying and curing this gel nail polish, my cuticles swelled & became unbearably itchy. Within 48 hrs my swollen cuticles turned purple & this product had to be removed. Lasting effects for a total of 3-4 days. Highly do not recommend!

This had the WORST heat spike I have ever experienced with builder gel. I have tried lots of different brands, and I've never had anything hurt as bad as this. Also, it lifted immediately after curing. Don't waste your time on this.

It’s a little runnier than what I’m use to for builder gel. It layers nicely but you might spend more time cleaning up the cuticle area and drilling to make it even. Also curing it for two minutes under my UV light didn’t fully dry it, I had to use rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky layer (for sanding purposes) if you manage to get it even you wouldn’t need to. Love the color though

Will not stay on. I watch every tutorial from olive and June and do all the things. It ALWAYS peels off after a day or two. So frustrating because I love the color and look when it’s on. Disappointing.

Not for the impatient
If you would not consider yourself to be patient and willing to learn through lots of trial and error, don’t consider buying this. If you have experience doing your own gel manicures and are willing to watch videos to help with the learning curve, you’ll figure it out. I went through an entire bottle of this before I got the hang and now it’s lasting me a little over 2 weeks. Prepping your nails properly and learning the correct way to build an apex are key here. If it’s peeling off, change your prep and watch how to properly use the small brush to take the gel out and seal it on.

Cannot Get it to Last
Love the color but I cannot get this to stay on for more than a couple days. I done the prep multiple different ways and have buffed and dried my nails out with acetone before and it still just fully peels off within 2-3 days.

Getting the hang of it?
I love the colors and quality of the builder gel but there is definitely a learning curve! I feel like I am working on my nails at least 3-4 nights per week making repairs or redoing the manicure. I am using the peel off base coat so that may be part of my issue. Hopefully I’m making progress and can improve the speed and longevity of my manicures soon.

We’re sorry this gel polish didn’t seem to cure properly. Our gel polish intentionally stays tacky after curing because of the inhibition layer which helps all layers bond properly! Once the top coat is applied and cured, it should no longer feel wet or smear, and you should be left with a hard glossy finish! Peels off in hours
I’ve tried the gel polish a few times. Watched the video for how to do it, etc. Used all products they say to use. Always peels off in hours. The photo shows what I am left with after painting them this morning.

Capping the free edge with each coat and avoiding water for at least an hour before and after the mani also helps the gel bond more securely. To ensure the best results, you'll want to avoid hand washing and showering for at least 30 minutes to an hour before you start painting your nails. Hand washing can cause your nail plates to expand, and when you apply polish, the nails later constrict back to their original size, which can lead to peeling of the polish. If you’re experiencing lifting or chipping at the base of your nails or on the sides, this is most likely due to not properly cleaning up your builder gel before curing. To achieve the best results, please ensure that you dip the clean-up brush into the acetone remover pot and thoroughly clean all around your nails before curing.
