[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge flaw with the lid. It would not twist open no matter how hard I tried. Others in the house attempted as well and it would not twist open. Tried to twist the opposite direction as well and it would not twist. Can’t even use the product.

I bought this because I go through so many cans of the normal spray Batiste. I had a very hard time getting the product out of the bottle. also the powder is more white than the normal dark hair spray. Don't waste your money.

I love this product. Cleaner ingredients and definitely works! Like a lot of the reviews - the first opening it for whatever reason was hard? Or I didn’t know I had opened it? The twist top, under the cap, twists about a quarter of the way around the cap, which is about a half an inch. The powder comes out of a tiny hole to keep it from being too much. It’s very easy to use once you open it once! I would recommend this product, just twist the top under the cap, don’t try to twist it off or remove it.

Especially that they have one specifically for brown hair which eliminates the annoying white spots from other dry shampoo that you have to really brush out well. The first picture is of the top of the bottle where the powder comes out, you twist the top to open the little hole. You can control how much powder comes out too which is nice. As you can see in the pictures my hair is super greasy and flat on the top and you can really see the difference in volume added to my hair while making it look clean! It also smells great too. I recommend over the spray dry shampoo i think it works better in my opinion!

Can't twist the cap open. The tiniest amount of powder comes out, and it's not enough to make any effect at all. Maybe the cap is defective, as others seem to have the same problems. This is one of those situations where not enough information is available to review the actual dry shampoo powder.

Which means the value of the product is great, price compared to use is like, 10 times more than it would be if it was an aerosol product. The scent is light and not noticeable, the appearance is like a fine powder that easily blends and builds in your hair.

For me, my natural hair is very dark so the “brown” looks about the same as any other aerosol. It definitely absorbs some of the oil in my hair, and I feel like I can move it around better than the sprays.

The lid is supposed to twist to open and close. The bottle I got won't twist at all. I have to take the whole thing off and it's hard to use. Way too much comes out and makes a mess.

Impossible to get the powder out!! The tiniest tiny bit comes out after shaking very hard or squeezing.

The color isn’t too dark, so it fit in with my light brown hair nicely and didn’t leave any weird white cast like normal dry shampoo! I loved this for my dark hair. It worked quickly, and lasted all day long. My hair felt fresh and clean! It didn’t have a strong scent and didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or dull. Definitely recommend!

I will say, I don’t really see the difference with this and any non brunette ones I’ve tried. I think it still leaves the same amount of residue - you just need to work it in a bit more.

The color itself might be a bit light for my hair color but it still helped with the appearance of oily hair and refreshed the hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how it contains so much product and is better for the environment since it isn't an aerosol. I feel like on the top of my head it does get coverage however the back of my head it is a bit difficult to reach. The container itself has a small hole that you twist to open and close and the powder comes out from there, so you can target the roots of your hair or certain areas near the roots with precision. I have fine thin hair so by day 2 or 3 post washing my hair it gets oily so I typically use dry shampoo to extend the time in between washes. I typically use the batiste aerosol dry shampoos and I love those, but I feel like those are a bit more effective with the area they cover. If only your roots get oily this is perfect for you, but if it extends past the roots near the ends of your hair it's a bit difficult to get to with a powder only. I like that it is mini and can be kept in the purse or a car without it exploding. It has a very light scent and doesn't leave much residue compared to other dry shampoos and the brown tint helps a lot compared to the white residue other ones leave. Overall I think it's nice but mostly only for roots unless it can be applied with a brush to the rest.

It helps between wash days but also doesnt dry out my hair. The texture is so leveled and perfect too. I highly reccomend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent dry shampoo, but the packaging is a deal breaker. The one tiny hole to dispense makes it very hard to get it where you want it, and you have to use A LOT. So it takes forever to apply, where a regular spray takes 10 seconds. If this had a puffer, or even came in a jar with a powder puff, it would be much more usable.

I love that you can sprinkle it right at the roots in the exact spots you need. My hair is very dark brown so the dark color prevents that white/gray cast that other dry shampoos leave. It's easy to wash out and the container is simple to use and keep in a purse.

The container goes so much further and it will last a lot longer than the spray. It took a minute to get used to applying it but works like a dream. I use it weekly to space out my hair washes. I love it’s tinted so my hair is not white after applying. Definitely a must have.
