I don’t have to worry about having white patches you can see in my hair anymore. This helps refresh my hair and makes it look less oily. I also feel that my hair gets a bit more volume after using this. I like how it smells too.

The directions say to sprinkle it in your hair by turning it upside down and shaking. The only way I could get any product out was to hold it upright and squeeze. I would not recommend this.

The non-aerosol aspect is a nice change with no inhaling a cloud of spray, and it's more travel-friendly. For the dark tint specifically: it blends well with my dark brown hair and doesn't leave any white or ashy residue at the roots, which has always been my biggest issue with regular dry shampoos. A little goes a long way. I'd start with less than you think you need and build up. It does a decent job absorbing oil on second-day hair and adds a bit of texture at the roots. I'd say the powder format requires a little more effort to work in compared to an aerosol, and it can be slightly messy during application if you're not careful, so I wouldn't do this over a white top. But once it's blended in, it looks natural. Overall a solid option, especially if you're looking to move away from aerosol dry shampoos and have dark hair.

It's been a total lifesaver for my busy morning. Since it's tinted for dark hair,it blends in seamlessly. No more grey or chalky look .the texture is very smooth ,it drinks up all the oil at the roots and gives my hair that just washed bounce and volume ,my hair doesn't feel sticky or heavy . I just feels clean and soft again ,with a natural matte finish .

It doesn’t leave a white residue like some other dry shampoo powders i’ve tried and it is very light and doesn’t weigh down my hair. I don’t *love* the packaging, the twist cap was a little hard to rotate when I first opened it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bastiste Dark Dry Shampoo Powder is good for those with brown hair that want to extend "the life" of their hair without washing it. The "dark" version allows for coverage, oil absorption, and helps add volume to your hair. It covers your roots well without making you look like a powdered donut, but be warned if you have gray hair showing it will tint that as well giving it a "dirty brown" color. It had a good scent, but it is very strong. If you are scent sensitive beware! I did not have any issues with loose power staining my skin or clothes. It washed out well, but be warned it could happen. It's a nice sized bottle that you could throw in a gym bag, weekend bag, or your purse for a quick refresher while out and about.

I love how this dry shampoo blends into my dark brown hair, and you can't even tell that I used it on my hair. Another great product from Bastiste, that is why this is my favorite dry shampoo brand.

I like the fact that it is non aerosol so nothing getting sprayed and makes it easy to travel with. This actually keeps my hair feeling fresh, clean and non greasy. Very easy to use on my hair, a bit of a pain to get the bottle to twist open, but the powder comes out easily and does not go everywhere, just where I’m applying. A nice option for on the go or those days you cannot wash your hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dry shampoo works so great!! It does a great job of lasting almost all day to hide the shine. Pros and cons of it being colored however. Pro being, I feel like when my hair is greasy it does piece together more and show my scalp - so the color really helps this. Cons, if you take a nap or bump your head on a white shirt - you are leaving a mark.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dry shampoo is a powder shampoo that you have to sprinkle on roots then distribute with fingers and brush through until you cannot see it anymore. It works fast and decently well. So it doesn’t take a long time. It has a light pleasant scent to it to refresh the hair. The powder has a light tan color. It is not white so it makes it easier to “disappear”. You can see the before and after photo. The powder is very finely milled, very light. It comes in a small square shaped bottle. The top of the shampoo has one one hole. I don’t really like that because it makes it harder to be precise with application. I wish it had more of a pointy end to help to get to the roots easier. While the powder does blend well with darker hair, my hair looks a bit less shiny after. Again, you can see on the photo. I do like the fact I don’t have to spray anything since I have kids. So far I have been enjoying using it. I used it a few times and am not close to finishing it yet.
