    Educate yourself on cold sores

    I love them. A lot of these low reviews seem to carry some ignorance. Cold sores always get worse (usually larger too) before they get better unless you are under treatment of Valtrex or your body reacts quickly to Lysine or Abreva creams. I haven’t had any issues with them staying on my lip for 12 hours, but I ensure my lip and surrounding area is clean/dry - if I eat anything that requires a utensil or food rubbing against my lip, it does need to be replaced - that’s a bit of a bummer. Other than that, these patches are the bee’s knees! I can cover my sore and not worry about the blister fluid contaminating my surrounding areas or my toddler who frequently gets very close in my space. They are slightly pricey but worth the cost to “contain” the sore fluids.

I love the little easy to use applicator and I really like that it is packaged into a discreet little patch. I used one throughout the day and another overnight and I definitely noticed a significant difference by the next morning. I would definitely recommend to those who are prone to cold sores. I very rarely get them, but have family members that get them so they are good to have around, especially through winter.

They’re great for protecting a cold sore, reducing irritation, and making it way less noticeable during the day, even under makeup. I found they helped with pain and prevented scabbing, and I preferred them over messy creams. That said, I didn’t feel like they dramatically shortened the healing time, and sometimes the patch would loosen a bit when eating or talking. Since it’s not medicated, it doesn’t replace an antiviral, but as a discreet, comfort-focused option, it definitely does its job. I’d buy them again, especially for daytime wear.

While the packs are individualised for no-touch application, I had to scrape the patch from the plastic strip because it wouldn’t self-stick to the skin. The adhesion wasn’t strong, and the patch fell off shortly after application. I did not see much of a difference. The patches are decent sized.

    Concealing

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband gets cold sores so these are going to be tried. I don’t have much feedback yet as he hasn’t had any cold sores but they seem like they are little patches like the pimple patches so they should work nice and concealing and healing.

It conceals and protects the area. The only problem is that it hurts to peel off.     Invisible and much better than a topical product

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is very similar to a pimple patch. You put it over your sore and it is almost invisible. It helped protect my sore so that I wasn’t constantly in pain while it was healing. I felt like my sore did heal quicker than it normally does but I did put this on as soon as the first symptoms hit. I loved how clean and effective the patch was. Bonus points that the shelf life is 2-3 years so I actually have time to use the product before it expires.
