When my first daughter was school age I started using this to be preventative but loved how it made her hair feel and the smell is wonderful so I used it all of the time. She’s 18 now and this kept her curly hair great all them formative years. Excellent product.

Great for prevention
Have been using this for years since our little one started preschool. There have been several outbreaks at school and my child has never once gotten lice. They are now in the 4th grade so it’s been many years of worrying about outbreaks and it’s nice to know this shampoo and their leave in conditioner are so effective!

It Works!
My daughter came home from school & was scratching, I checked her hair & sure enough she had Ukus (lice). I did some research & I didn’t wanna use Nix brand, then I came across fairytale Shampoo, Conditioner & Spary (conditioner leave in bottle) bought all 3. Came home did a wash & was literally amazed at how fast it killed the live ones. I was like ok, this is my new go to now. I had read reviews about how they used this product & their hair fell out:( I would say my doughter hasn’t experienced it. But it got me thinking it says they could use it daily but I will probably use this 2x to treat her hair & use the spary just until her head is clear, then I will give the product a rest & pray I don’t need to bring out all 3 bottles again:) I will say my daughter’s hair is like so nice, fresh smelling & great. The oils inside don’t bother any of us because we think it smells good. But it maybe a strong smell for others.

Love it! We stopped using it last year because we ran out and I was trying to clean up our cabinets…. Worst idea. Within two weeks of not using this product our daughter got lice. It was terrible! This stuff works. I swear by this brand!

DO NOT BUY - HAIR FELL OUT IN CLUMPS AFTER ONE USE!
Should have read all the reviews before purchasing. After ONE use, my young daughter's hair fell out in clumps - I thought she got a hold of scissors and cut her hair, brushed it and more clumps came out. Pass. The two sets I bought are heading to trash.

The best! I’ve used this on my kids since they started school just to prevent any lice from coming home and till this day they haven’t ! Theres a little smell but not too bad i think it’s the tea tree oil or whatever they use but definitely recommend! I also only use one bottle per kid for the year so it definitely lasts a long time!

Makes your hair feel soft!
Purchased this when I heard there were three cases of lice in the preschool my girls go to. Luckily no cases in their classroom, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of this product (we were using it as a preventative measure), but I will say it made my highlighted and colored hair really soft! I was impressed. The smell is not desirable when shampooing, but it does smell nice after rinsing it out. Also, a little bit goes a long way.
