Q: Does anyone else have the issues of it spraying everywhere when trying the K-Cup function? It works well for water but when we place a K-Cup in there it just creates a huge mess.

  • A: This unit has an OVER ICE BREW setting. The steps to make iced coffee are: 1. Fill your desired vessel to the top with ice cubes and place the vessel below the brew basket. Use the Multi-Serve dial to select the brew size. 2. Press the BREW STYLE button to choose Over Ice Brew. 3. Press the START BREW button on the dial to start the brew. To cancel the brew at any time, press the START BREW button on the dial again or press the Power button. 4. The brewer will beep to signal that the brew has started. The progress bar around the dial will illuminate to indicate the status of the brew. When the brew is finished, the machine will beep again, and "End" will appear on the display.

    Return window expired - haven’t even been using it for five months and giving up. If you use k-cups primarily do not buy this. I cannot tell you how much money we’ve wasted assuming it was the kcups and trying different brands to see if it fixed the issue. The kcups explode every use. We’ve tried everything - cleaned it out, followed all instructions and it doesn’t do anything.

    We have been using this coffee maker for about 2 years and I can honestly say we absolutely love it! I'm one of those that like to do a lot of research before buying. This ticked most of our boxes. Prior to buying this we were using a Cuisinart Keurig. My initial reason for wanting this was to be able to brew if we have coffee. It turns out we like the brewed coffee shop much more than the pods! We almost exclusively brew now with an occasional pod here and there. I love how easy it is to switch between the two. My husband also loves iced coffee and this does a great job with brewing for iced coffee. The other feature that i love is the dedicated hot water port. In the winter i love hot tea at night and it's nice to use the coffee maker for that and have hot water without it tasting like coffee. We have had no issues and we use it every day (sometimes more). The only thing it does not do is grind the coffee for you (not that would be AWESOME!!) Very happy with this product.

    After three short years this coffee maker is done. A big waste of money if it’s only going to have 3 years of life. The lights went out last year so it’s been setting roulette but now the brewing function is also done.

    This is the worst coffee maker ever. Using the K cups it will dump all the coffee grounds into the coffee cup. Also if you do not use are-usable filter, it will dump coffee grounds into the coffee pot. This morning I went through 5 K cups until I got frustrated. This does this more frequently. I am extremely disappointed in this product. I highly recommend you do not purchase this product

    We love this coffee makes because we can grind fresh beans and make a pot or in a hurry use a pod! Best feature is the water reservoir can go in the back or on the side as pictured. It’s a great space saver for a small kitchen.

    I’ve had this coffee pot for a year now. Started having issues with it leaking out the full carafe of water on my counter. Then today I go to move it to clean under it and noticed it had burned and melted my counter. Thank god I saw it when I did. The counter was still hot.

    I love our DualBrew. I have been happy with the coffee that comes out. I love the "rich" coffee feature, and that we can brew a single cup or a whole pot. No issues with coffee grounds making it to the cup except for when I tried a mesh filter instead of the normal paper filters. Would definitely buy another, and have considered buying another for work.

This thing does it ALL―I've used it for K-Cups, thus replacing my Keurig MINI Plus (gone), and have made a cappuccino every day since I set it up... I've actually burned\worn out my Frother Whisk!! The Independent Hot Water System is wonderful and can be used for instant cereals, cup of soups, mashed potatoes, etc. (all of which I have and do). I do not use it as a regular daily coffee maker, however―preferring my old BUNN Classic Speed Brew (quick coffee)!!

    We bought this 3/25 and after 90 days my wife and I really enjoy this coffee maker. We love the frother and the other reason we went with this model was because we both enjoy tea, oatmeal so having the water option (hot or boil) too is a great feature and it separate from the coffee maker water spout. The pull down tray to place mug on is nice as well. It does well with travel mugs for coffee/tea on the go. We grind our own coffee and the filter basket handles that really well, no grounds in coffee. We don't use pods so we can not speak on this feature. There are three things that I think would make this coffee maker even better! 1. Have an auto drip stop. If you forget to move the handle to closed the coffee does drip on hot plate, and banging the Krafe into the closed handle when placing it back on hot plate. 2. To have a tray to catch water when you choose the wrong cup size for water and it over flows. 3. Instead of OZ sizes for everything change the settings to Cups.
