Q: Is this good for severely, dry, cracked lips? I'm extremely sick, bedridden for years, I'm dehydrated & a lot of meds don't help. I'm looking for some-thing as fab as Dr Lipp Nipple Balm. Any advic?

  • A: I use this product on my lips nightly after my shower and it works amazingly for preventing chapped lips! I work outside in the weather a lot and it is a lifesaver. Occasionally, I will apply it again in the morning. I am sure it would help protect them so they could heal if they were already chapped.

Q: Can I use Lanolin Nipple Cream on my lips? I have chapped lips & anything Ive tried doesnt help to heal them, it just makes them soft but if I stop using the product, for a few days, the products I've tried my lips still are dry/cracked/chapped.

    One of the best nipple creams that I own now. It soothes and protects nipple during breastfeeding journey. It saved me already couple of times. I like that it is safe for baby and you don’t need to wash it off. It doesn’t taste awful for baby as well. It is must have for new mamas.

    Greats for nips and lips!

    This was my favorite product when I had babies, and even 5 years later! This product is a lifesaver when you’re breastfeeding, and it’s also a great lip gloss! I have this in my purse because it’s the greatest lip product I’ve ever owned. It’s great for an overnight mask, and also as a hydrating gloss during the day.

    Saved my nipples!

    Would recommend this product to everyone, whether they are breastfeeding or have cracked hands! Works the very first time you use it and made a massive difference to my breastfeeding journey when I was struggling at the beginning with sensitive nipples. It has helped me through cracking and also when I’ve had milk spots that have burst (when pregnant).

    This product literally works like magic. A few days ago I was in pain and I’ve been in pain for a couple of weeks but when I first used. It worked like magic. No buildup and very easy to wash. Safe for baby and you don’t actually need to wash it before breastfeeding. Fits in your bag or purse. Doesn’t take much space and I highly recommend it. It healed me in less than two days. For storage put in a safe place.

    This stuff is INCREDIBLE!! Pure lanolin, which is a real ingredient and safe for you and baby. This works wonders on any dryness, including your lips!! I use it daily, even when I'm not breastfeeding. Amazing product! Not sticky, unscented, and absorbs so well.

    Life saver

    I had such a horrible experience breastfeeding but it would have been worse if I didn’t have this cream it saved my life, great mosturizer and great thing about it is that nothing happens if baby eats it so totally recommend

    This nipple cream saved my life postpartum. It is super thick, but not too sticky. It comes out easily and it’s super helpful when babies latch is a little stronger. It also helps to prevent even more pain from the friction of your bra or shirt when you’re not nursing.

    Especially for a first time mum it’s a must have product in my postpartum caddy. Helped me to keep on breastfeeding and latching was pain free in couple of days. The factor that it doesn’t need rinsing is a huge plus.

    Great for sleep apnea lip balm!!

    I've been using this since my first baby was born in 1999. I use it now at bedtime as lip balm. I have sleep apnea and wear a full-faced mask. It keeps my lips from drying out and lasts all night! It's the best lip balm I've ever used. Reapply if you get a drink during the night.

    No sore mama here!

    I love this product as a breastfeeding mama. I use it not only with my shield but also with my pump. It keeps a barrier to help prevent dry, cracked, and sore bits. You can even put it on before a shower to help protect yourself against the hard water or harsh soap. The best thing is, it’s safe for baby too, no need to wash!

    Intensive night treatment for lips

    I have only ever used this for lips, typically during my nighttime routine when winter weather has caused chapping. It is extremely thick and sticky, similar to ointment consistency. That means it has good staying power for a night routine, but would be more messy for daytime use, which I would not personally recommend. The package is a generous size, so this will last a long time even if used very often.

    Do not recommend cream

    Bought this for my wife and she does not recommend it. She says it does not work like it is designed to do. She also does not like that it is labeled as a cream but is really an ointment.

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT

    My youngest daughter was born in 2000. I received this product as a gift. I ran out of diaper cream & tried this on her bottom. Her rash was cleared up in only days & then disappeared!! I have been using this product ever since!! I even give it to friends & family at Christmas time!!

    finally found something that works

    To be completely honest, I use it for my lips. I have perpetually dry and chapped lips no matter how much water I drink or chapstick I tried. Petroleum based lip balms just sat on top the crusty parts and never soaked in. I read on some online comment to try lanolin. I am so happy I saw that comment, because this stuff keeps my lips so soft and with a very tiny amount. The tube will likely last a year or more, but I will be buying more eventually.
