Key ingredients include Sunflower Seed and Sweet Almond Oils, plus Mandelic Acid and encapsulated Centella Asiatica that helps increase skin cell turnover and restore the skin’s moisture barrier. I like how it smooths out any dry patches and reduces crepey skin after continued use. Although it is a thicker texture, it still absorbs quickly without any stickiness or greasy feel after applying. I applied this 2x per day on my legs and found it very hydrating. Legs are smooth and stay moisturized all day (or night). This will especially be great in the winter months, but it is a little bit heavy for my skin in hot humid months.

However, I didn’t care for the packaging, because of my larger hands, I often ended up getting too much product at once. It is thick and creamy so I would start off with small amounts. Overall, it’s a nice lotion to use after a shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this cream after showers to lock in moisture. I’m glad I got different sizes so I can use one for my face and neck. The before and after photos taken weeks apart on their advertisement doesn’t really show much of a difference if I’m being honest. I also don’t think I have the type of skin to truly show a difference if I were to do a before and after, but right now in life I am focused on maintaining or improving my skin. It’s all about prevention. So hopefully in keeping with creams like this it will help my body. There’s not much of a scent and it rubs in nice without feeling sticky or heavy. There’s bottle is big enough to cover the body and I use other creams for certain areas I want to focus on.

The firming part doesn’t make my skin feel dry or tight like some others do—it just feels smooth and comfortable. I also like that it’s unscented and not overwhelming. It lasts a long time too, so I don’t feel like I need to reapply constantly. Definitely a new favorite.

I recently tried out the new Cetaphil Hydrating and Firming Cream. They have several products in this line, one for face, one for body, and a lotion for hands. This review is for the body cream. It has skin activator compounds that penetrate deep to activate sleeping cells that help to firm up the skin. I have only used this a short time and cannot say much about the firming aspect, but there are several other things I noticed and liked. It is a thick formula so it is not messy and it absorbed well into my skin. Since the formula is thicker, you only need a small amount to get the job done. I also personally liked that it had almost no scent to it as well. I have fragrances I like to put on myself and do not like having my lotion compete with them. Overall I am happy with it and my skin is left hydrated and soft after each use.

The cream is gentle on my skin and really doesn’t have a smell to it. I really haven’t seen any tightening of my skin. I will continue to use it as part of my daily routine just for the hydration aspect. The jar is a good size and very easy to handle. The lid was easy for me to take off even with my arthritic hand.

As my skin has gotten older, I’ve noticed more dryness, a little loss of firmness, and just that overall tired look. This cream has been helping with all of that. The texture is rich but not heavy. It sinks in quickly and gives my skin long lasting hydration. They say 48 hours, and I believe it because my skin still feels soft the next day. It uses mandelic acid (AHA) to gently increase surface cell turnover and CICA to help strengthen and restore the skin barrier. Together, they really do make my skin look smoother and a bit more plump. Overall, it feels like a cream that’s not just hydrating but also actually supporting my skin as it ages. Gentle, effective, and definitely something I’ll keep in my routine.

It’s also where, naturally, there are a lot of wrinkles. I forgot to take a before photo but this is after 30 days of use. My elbow feels mildly more supple and hydrated. It’s also summer and it has been insanely humid where I live. I would like to try this product in winter for a true test of its results. Again, unscented so I docked a star. That’s just preference though.
