Clean, light smell that dissipates rapidly. Great lather (for being SLS free) and cleans my hair well. I have some natural wave, and I think this shampoo relaxes that more than I want, but the price is right! Will repurchase. I'm so happy that Suave finally is producing a basic SLS-free shampoo. It's all I ever wanted from them since I had to stop using their awesome basic line because of the SLS sensitivity I developed some years ago. :)
