My 8year old and 20month old LOVED them. The steps for success were easy. The muffins were moist and full of flavor. My only complaint is that it’s not a huge portion. I will be purchasing again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These muffins were delicious. We love Simple Mills products and this did not disappoint. We don't often eat sugar, so these are the perfect level of sweet for us, but if you do like them a bit sweeter, then I suggest adding the honey (as suggested on the box) or making your own cream cheese icing for the top. The preparation was a bit messy with the cinnamon sugar mixture, but the measurements were dead on, which I loved as I have experienced not having the right amount with other brands. I would definitely make this again in the future.

But I imagine some yogurt added, as the back says, could help with the moistness. The cinnamon flavor is good, but I wish that was smoother and creamier. I think I will make a cream cheese, butter, and cinnamon frosting for it. I think that will do it!

It’s less sweet than other cake mixes, but I preferred it. I used avocado oil and it came out perfectly. It smells and tastes amazing and is a lovely treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taste was pretty good! It was a bit dryer than expected but I could have accidentally messed up on the amount of butter / oil. When reading the instructions it quantities for the recipe that you need 1/2 cup of oil or 1/2 teaspoon of butter, however in the instructions you use that quantity for mixing ingredients, and THEN it requests you use it again for the cinnamon sugar swirl which in my head doesn’t make sense because you already used the quantity of ingredients listed.

The bad: unfortunately the flavor was pretty bland. The “streusel” topping tasted like straight cinnamon and was not very sweet at all. I bake muffins regularly for my kids and they told me they were “plain”. My kids will usually down most baked goods, too, by the way. Unsurprisingly, they went most uneaten. I understand trying to keep the mix healthy, but I do think they would be a bigger hit with just a tiny bit more sugar added.

To me, it’s flavorful without being overly sugary. It’s gonna be moist texture when you baked well, unfortunately mine was slightly dry even though I’d followed the instruction but still tasted good after all. You gonna like it because its clean ingredients and gluten free. However its a bit pricey for the box size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenager and I decided to give SimpleMills cinnamon swirl muffin and cake mix a try and it was absolutely delicious, plus it gave us the opportunity to do something together and enjoy a delicious treat afterwards! ✨ The dough performed just as any other mix in the market, even though it’s made with oat flour. So much so, that my husband didn’t notice a significant difference due to that change either. 😜 There was no aftertaste, and I would even dare to say that I prefer it to other previously tried brands. In my opinion it’s worth every Penny!

Perfect Sweetness!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the ingredients in this mix. It would be my preference to have less refined, processed foods when possible. I used the oil instead of the melted butter. While I love butter, I thought the oil would make a more tender crumb (yes, I hate that M word). Unfortunately, it did not. They were a tad dry. Flavor was great. They were not too sweet, which is a plus. As you can see mine did not rise as much as those on the packaging. Also, I thought I read to later the cinnamon mixture in between the batter. I was a bit heavy handed with the initial batter layer, though, so mine were more of a swirl versus a traditional-style crumble topping. My daughter loved them warmed with a slather of butter.
