Many Uses
The Graphite 8' bread knife is not only a fine looking addition to the kitchen, but it is the most useful knife in my collection. Works great on the crustiest, as well as the softest loaves of bread. I also love using it to cut through melon, especially large watermelons, pineapple, tomato, onions, and slicing through hard squash. I am an avid baker, and use this to torte cakes, as well as slice soft cakes like sponge and angel food, without crushing. The handle offers a comfortable grip, and cleans up beautifully in the dishwasher, as well as the sink. No rusting or spotting.

I serve fresh bread each evening at dinner and want a bread knife that slices the bread in a clean slice, not torn. The serration on this bread knife is nice and does exactly that, nice clean slice each time.

I love this graphite line for the color of the handle. Looks modern and clean and has a good serrated blade for all those uncut loaves of bread. The nice, curved handle makes for a good grip and comfort. Slices right through any of those hard outer crusts with soft insides, without much effort.

Great Bread Knife
Love the dark gray handle; beautiful but also very comfortable and a great weight. Forged from German steel assures me of lasting quality. The key to this good bread knife is that it can slice through a loaf of fresh bread without smashing or tearing. It also works great on large melons.

Perfect for getting through any bread but also has many other uses. This "bread" knife can be used to cut anything with a hard exterior and soft interior, think melons, eggplants or even cucumbers. It is made from high quality stainless steel, the knife won't rust or tarnish. It is also safe in the dishwasher.

With its very modern sleek design, this line of all metal knives is excellent. The quality of the steel, the workmanship of the fully forged blades with integrated bolster makes the knife comfortable and easy to work with whether you’re cooking for one or prepping for a banquet. These knives are well worth the money. Comfortable handle with a little heft to it for good tactile feel. This bread knife has good length and excellent serrations. Crusty country bread or chewy sourdough, neither is a match for the easy slicing of this knife. Bring it out for large fresh tomatoes and super ripe fruit. Easily maintained. This knife, with its serrated edge, will keep its edge indefinitely. Dishwasher safe.

The contrasting color from the blade to the handle is quite nice. The handle is hollow, which allows it to be lightweight and comfortable. No slipping here. The blade is sharp and great for a crusty bread or tough skins on tomatoes.
