Love the clean look and well-designed functions. Built-in roll storage with integrated cutting blade is extremely convenient. The pulse control is especially helpful with moist or delicate foods. As a new vacuum sealer user, I am finding more and more things to seal for freezing.

My heat sealer did not work properly from the beginning and Customer Service was awful. I round up paying $15 to ship back a product that did not work properly and then I paid another $10 for a box since I had assumed product would work and I discarded the outside box. No one ever got back to me even though I called I sent emails and it went through Shop who also offered no customer service.

Upon arrival the unit did not work properly. Suction in the vacuum and seal mode was slow and weak and it did not evacuate all the air and stopped after a minute or so without sealing. I had to pay $14 to return the defective unit. I was notified that my return was received and the matter is closed. I'm not confident that a replacement is coming. I cannot recommend this product.

Very happy overall. Only negative for me is that the tray where the liquid is trapped is not a removable option - I need to clean it awkwardly. This is my first Anova, second sealer - Anova vastly sturdier and well made. Highly recommended

This is my first vacuum sealer, and it is working great for me. I appreciate the roll storage with cutter, and the little well to catch liquids is essential. The instruction pamphlet is not very helpful, but I saw two online videos that were immensely helpful.

I am so pleased with my anova precision pro vacuum sealer! It’s shockingly quiet and seals despite moisture. I wish I’d ditched my [other brand vacuum sealer] a long time ago.

I have never written a review before but I need to in this instance. I can not get a seal no matter how I set the bag, try adjust it, nothing. It runs but that is it. The machine came with no instructions and the website seems pretty useless. I have asked to return it but I will have to see how that works out. PS I tried a 0 but I had to give it a 1. I guess that helps with the average

Works well! The cutter was unintuitive to me. I didn't realize it doesn't have a "wet" function. Works for wet items, just make sure they're frozen hard before using the "moist" function.

Does not seal properly. Air always seeps in when sealing. Very had to sous vide (have to force the bag down) and definitely will not protect food from freezer burn. Contacted customer service and was told to check various items. Had a food saver brand for over 10 years. I know how to vacuum seal. Don’t buy.

Specifically said that this is for most foods then I get it that sounds avoid using with liquids. I’m disappointed. This does not seem to have any function my basis one has.

I’m really enjoying my vacuum sealer, I’ve had it for about a month and have used already many times- it does a great job on dry items…. And a pretty good job on moist food, you have to use a fairly oversized bag for wet items or they leak liquid like crazy. There are a couple things that can be improved through- in the roll of bags that came with my sealer, some areas were wrinkled and I have had one Sous vide meal leak so far due to this. Also, the tray area inside is not removable for cleaning and if a bit of liquid gets in, not super easy to clean and sanitize. Are there smaller bags available?

Bought for a friend. I own one and love it

It is bigger than I thought, but I should have done more research about the size. It is high so putting the bag on a leveled item is necessary and not always convenient. Not sure what is the purpose of the "moist" feature but it bring the same results as the "dry" when using a moist objects in the bag. Overall I'm pretty disappointed but telling myself it's a good, strong product. It does look good and I love the design.
