A: I just got mine and 20 minutes seems pretty close to how long it lasted for me.

A: Hi Melanie! On the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Lithium Ion Hand Vacuum, the charger plug-in is located at the back of the handle, near the bottom. You’ll see a small port where the included charging adapter fits snugly. Just plug it in and let it charge fully before use.

Not Worth The Money
I would definitely not recommend this vacuum at this price point. Con’s: it takes extremely long to charge to a full battery. On average, I would say anywhere from 3 to 5 hours until it indicates that the battery is full. On a full battery it won’t run for more than 30 to possibly 40 minutes max. The suction power is pretty low and it’s really not great for pet hair on fabrics.

mine just died so I had to go out and get a new one that little vacuum has lasted me over 6 years I've had to buy extra filters but it is perfect it's always worked battery life is good doesn't take long to charge I would highly recommend!

Do not recommend
It takes 8-16 hours to charge and only last for 45 minutes. I was hopeful as we’ve had Bissell vacuums before (3 dogs in our house) and needed a hand vacuum. Definitely recommend something better battery wise. Also the attachment for small cracks does not reach far AT ALL and will not work for car cleans if trying to get the sides of the seat.

Tower and beds
I love the Pet Hair Eraser. It is so much quicker than dragging out the big vaccuum. With 3 rescue cats and 1 dog, there is fur everywhere. I was surprised by the amount of dust left behind by the big vac that the Pet Eraser picked up. So much that I have to empty and clean it after only the cat tower and their beds. Not just fur but the filter is covered with dust that it has trapped. I'm hoping this will end an environmental allergy that one cat has had and has been wearing a cone for months. I've recommended it to my friends with foster animals. I haven't tried the mini green machine I ordered at the same time but I'm sure it will be just as effective for 2 of my 4 with potty issues. Gotta love those "unwanted" ones.

Horrible battery life
Suction is great, but the battery life is horrible. Only worked for 20 minutes before I had to recharge it. At this rate, it will take me 2 days to finish vacuuming my furniture and stairs.
