Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution FreshStart Carpet Cleaner

Pet stains and general cleaning. Not happy with it at all! Followed all the directions for when things don’t work, fix that and still doesn’t suck up the cleaning solution!

Worked real good on remedying a bowl fish chowder on the carpet. Instructions were fine and understandable.

The biggest piece of junk I’ve ever wasted my money on. I’ve used it probably 10 times, just my living room. The bottom part no longer clicks in, the suction no longer works, it wont put any formula out. Completely useless. The clean water plastic broke within 1 week. PLEASE do not waste your money. Buy from another brand, Bissel is complete junk.

I bought this less than 2 years ago and it’s already unusable. It oozes rust and doesn’t suck anything up so you just have a heavily saturated still messy carpet. Tried taking it apart to fix but seems to be within the inner portions where the rust is oozing out from the exhaust air vents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second choice. My first choice was the ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner but it was out of stock. I'm using it for periodic cleaning of my homes carpet. So far I'm impressed with the cleaning ability and how quickly the carpet dried. Cleanup was fairly easy. I did find it extremely difficult to clean the clear plastic area above the roller without removing the roller.

It was the best decision we have made in a long time. It was like day and night compared to what we were using. It was so much lighter and easy to use. Was able to clean all our carpet in an hour and it looked Great!!!!!!!

We finally gave it up because it hasn't been doing the same job as it did when it was new. We had family coming over in a few days and our carpet was looking old and dirty as well as the smell wasn't that good as well. I have really liked Bissell products and wanted to try their carpet cleaner out. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! It helped make the carpet look better than it has in a long time and made the whole house smell incredible. Thank you Bissell.

But..cleaning the machine itself is a chore, I would in a heartbeat upgrade to the next model, where the rollers pull out of the way for cleaning. If it's hard to clean ( I personally) will eventually not clean it well...leading to a future breakdown. I hope this helps you decide.

This machine works wonderfully. Freshens up area rugs to make them look new again. The carpets are cleaned quickly and easily. The machine is easy to use, easy to load the shampoo and easy to clean when finished. All in all it exceeded my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't understand how everyone else has such positive things to say about this product. Yes, it has removed every single mess my (unbelievably messy) dog has made on my rug and carpet. But that one pro doesn't come close to outweighing the seemingly endless cons: 1) no matter how carefully I try to roll it from room to room, a trail of liquid (dirty? clean? I have no idea) follows. So then I have to clean the hardwood floors as a result of cleaning the carpet 2) the dirty water tank spills a puddle worth of dirty liquid if I don't immediately position it horizontally after taking it out 3) unless you have a pet that sheds VERY minimally, this carpet cleaner isn't for you. Piles of dirty, wet hair build up in the brushes and nozzle. While I get this can't necessarily be avoided for pets that are heavy shedders, this product was (based off the name) made with pets in mind. So why wasn't it built to allow the brushes to be removed and cleaned without having to use a screwdriver each time? I instead have to clean out the brushes and area it's in by rolling the brushes around and removing all the dirty hair globs by hand, which isn't easy. And is unnecessarily gross 4) the nozzle lid apparently has to be snapped back on using a very specific method, because it takes me multiple tries every single time 5) I wouldn't mind the bulkiness of this product if it were in any way easy to deconstruct. Trying to unsnap the handle from the main part is in NO way as easy as the video makes it look 6) it would have been nice if the money used towards producing a pointless separate carry handle and providing the needed screws was instead used towards providing a physical user manual that's actually helpful. I don't enjoy having to search for the applicable video on Bissell's website each time I have a question about using this carpet cleaner (which is often). Especially when only about 15 seconds of the 3 minute video is spent towards answering my question

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this because we moved to a new place with carpet in all four bedrooms, my blind Pug is still adjusting and has been urinating on the carpets. I researched which carpet cleaner would be best for pet stains and odors, this product had great reviews so I decided to purchase it. I have cleaned my carpet once using the carpet cleaning solution that came with the product and my Pug has not used my carpet as a puppy pad since. I also love the hair removal tool that it comes with, it makes it easy to remove dog fur that sometimes catches in the suction portion of the cleaner. Plus this unit is light enough for me to carry, I suffer from sciatica and a herniated disc. If you're thinking about getting this product, don't think anymore and buy it
