There's nothing to show whether battery is low so it dies often and quick, when charging you don't know if it's fully charged because there's no indicator it's even charging (which is bad for overcharging and burning out) loses it's charge very quickly. I bought this on sale and honestly wish I just spent the extra 20 on a better vaccum. I would not reccomend, would spend the extra money for something worth it

my son took ours to college so needed a new one. I like the old model a bit better because the extra pieces (brush and narrow extention) were attached. This vacuum is great for the kids to use for a quick crumb clean up.

So I actually like how this performs a lot, it works really well and has great suction, a big improvement over my last one. The problem is, there is no indicator to show you how much battery life you have left, and no light to indicate that’s it’s either charging or done charging. I have an older home with some dodgy outlets where you have plug things in a certain way to make sure they’re working. Well there is no way to tell whether this is charging at all, or when it’s done charging. And as I mentioned, no way to know that it’s running out of battery life until it suddenly starts running slower and then shuts off. It’s a major design flaw in my opinion, very annoying and frustrating, and I would not buy it again for that reason. If it had an indicator light of any kind, it might be my favorite handvac. But as it is, I can’t recommend it - unless you don’t care about things like that

Love the power and the flexibility this gives us! It does a great job! We’ve used it in the car, in the corners, on the furniture, to get rid of dust bunnies in those hard to reach places and then it’s SO easy to dump it. You just pull it open, dump, put it back together and voila! Ready to go again!

I buy this black and decker hand vacuum on an annual basis. Why? That’s how long it lasts. After that, doesn’t hold charge. Lasts 20 seconds and it’s done.
