It boils quickly and can make several cups at a time.
Love the looks and concept of this kettle. It heats water quickly and looks great on the counter. But after using it a week, it becan to leak water from the bottom of the kettle. The amount of the water increased.
Terrible! Lid is hard to get on and off, makes a horrible nails on chalk board sound when you shove the lid on. It LEAKS like other reviews suggest! And has a plastic heater inside, which is the opposite of what I want when buying a kettle...looks pretty, but totally not functional and waste of money!
After reading a handful of reviews, it seems like my leaking issue is somewhat common, but not guaranteed. I have a neighbor with the exact same kettle, and he has never had issues. The first time pouring from the kettle, there was a pretty substantial leak at the bottom crease where the metal and plastic base meet. I assumed it was left over water from cleaning the kettle initially, so I didn't think much of it. It has leaked every time since and I'll be swapping this unit out for another today. Hoping the next kettle is sealed properly, as it's a great looking and functioning kettle otherwise.
I was excited for this kettle as it's sleek and did exactly what I needed it to do... but it only lasted one day. On the second day of using it, boiling water began leaking out the bottom when I picked it up. So bummed.
