Bose SoundLink Plus Portable Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bose bluetooth speaker is an absolute unit. It’s the classic sound quality with strong bass in a portable unit and is great to bring along for outdoor activities. I also use it at home when I’m showering haha. It has a neat feature on the Bose app that lets you customize the “action button” on the speaker to start playing your mixes on spotify or to do the speaker link so you can have 2 of the same speakers play from one device, but since I only have one, the Spotify feature is fine. I’m hoping that they update the app to have more features like changing the EQ. The battery life lasts for quite a while as long as you don’t put it on max volume, and it always announces what % battery it is in 10’s as soon as you turn it on to remind you to charge it soon. The only downside in my use case is that the hoop on the side for hanging and holding isn’t really useful for me. It would have been nice to have it be optional to attach and detach so it fits inside my cubby better, but at least it feels really durable and I don’t see how normal use would be able to break it.

It’s loud, clear, and super easy to set up (it connected so quickly). It’s a very solid build and just feels heavy duty and durable. Will be a summer staple for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took the Bose SoundLink Plus Portable Speaker to our cottage trip and oh my God - it was a HIGHLIGHT of our trip! The sound system is so so amazing with the perfect level of base that really makes the music hit your soul! Not only that, it has a very long battery life - we used it continuously for days and didn't have to charge even one (and it still has battery left). It is visually very appealing and a high end product. It looks beautiful sitting anywhere and so easy and compact to carry. I can't believe this tiny speaker is so powerful and sturdy. It is so worth the price and a perfect gift!

Tried a different brand and returned it for this - superior sound and look. So extremely happy with my purchase.

I have a jbl flip 4 that I would use on the daily, but now I use this one because the sound quality and battery life is way better! I was able to connect it with no issues and it connects automatically once I turn it on. I’ve taken it to play volleyball at the park it’s portable. Not as much as the JBL flip 4 but doable.

Luv this speaker. Small but it packs a punch. Has a mean bass. The clarity of every instrument you can hear. A portable speaker monster.

This is a quality Bose product. The speaker is made of a nonslip material and has a thick rope loop. I am comfortable taking this speaker anywhere as I can sit it or hang it anywhere I want. The sound from this speaker is amazing! It definitely meets the expectations I have from Bose. It's like a smaller version of the cinema. The sound is crisp, clear, and has a distinct sound that I have only noticed with Bose products. The battery life is exceptional, even when I use the speaker as a portable charger for my phone. I like that my phone battery will not die before the speaker. I also connect my SoundLink Plus to my Bose Smart Soundbar using SIMPLESYNC. I was only able to group two Bose products at once; the soundbar and the SoundLink Plus. I was unable to add a third speaker by connecting my SoundLink Micro to this group. When two products are linked, the individual volumes can be adjusted or both volumes can be adjusted at the same time.

I have two and paired together they are great immersive sound 3d like. The sound is full even great for classical music. I listen to a variety of music. I use them to exercise on an elliptical. Excellent for tabata workout. I have a samsung phone and can hook up two different speakers. I have the soundlink flex 2nd gen and I have two also in stereo plus in back flex in front. Makes the workout nice. I like the bose sound.

I bought this speaker after buying the Bose Flex 2 because I was so impressed with the Flex 2 sound quality. The Soundlink Plus is bigger with bigger sound. The quality of sound without distortion at higher levels is excellent. The battery life is much longer, depending on the volume used and with the Bose app, you can adjust the equalizer to fit your tastes. I'm never disappointed with Bose products and this lives up to the Bose reputation

I had the smaller version and the sound quality is better on this one so far. It isn’t loud enough to cover my whole backyard, but it’s enough for by the pool!

Extremely easy to connect. as soon as i turn the speaker on it instantly connects to my phone. i’ve had it for a month and have only had to charge it once. it’s also very good sound and transmits the bass well

This speaker is the perfect balance for size and portability! The over all rubberized coating and large rubber base and rope woven handle and hanging loop really speaks to how rugged this speaker really is when you finally get it in the hand and can feel the high quality materials and construction in person! I have taken this on several camping trips and road trips and it is the perfect companion for the golf cart, side by side, and bike rides with its water rating and dirt resistance! Very easy clean up with a simple wipe down and you’re back in action! The ease of use with the interface and connection and quick access buttons on top make this speaker a 10 in the segment! The Bose app ties everything together with EQ adjustments and other fine tuning settings that make this a nice package to start. Bose always adds some other futures later on if needed or requested also which is a huge plus for longevity and end user support! Linking with other Bose products could turn this unit into a “whole house” audio system with a huge portability factor and future upgrade potential to add the next new speaker later. At loud or max volumes is the only place where some strain is noticed, but the internal sound processing handles the loud requests well with no clipping or distortion but less overall bass which is to be expected with speakers this size. The sound is superb at medium to medium high levels as far as acoustic design allows. Over all a very nice upgrade to the portable Bose line-up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speaker works beautifully! The volume gets VERY loud, I didn't want to turn it up all the way. The speaker is user friendly. The app was easy to connect to. Cool that you can adjust the equalizer. I wouldn't say it's portable due to it's size. Weight feels like 5-10 lbs.

Bought a second SL Plus speaker and it's definitely my best decision. I'm very satisfied with hearing powerful sound, with deep, crystal-clear bass, in every corner of my patio, by the pool, or in my workout room. They're lightweight enough to carry everywhere. I'll soon be traveling abroad, and they'll definitely be the first thing I throw in my suitcase for those get-togethers and parties I plan to have when I arrive with my family. I highly recommend them—in fact, it's super important to have at least one; you won't regret it!
