submitted byMelissa - 4 years agoA: Hello, If your hair is naturally straight, this is not the product for you. Curl Maker is specifically designed for people with curly/coily/kinky hair. It enhances their natural curl pattern while reducing frizz. It's a great product, but not for the hair type you've described. I would recommend you braid your or even try bantu knots (look on YouTube), sleep in them, and release them in the morning. This may give you a temporary curly/wavvy texture that you desire. At first when applying the curl maker, I wasn't sure if my wash n go was going to turn out great, so I paired it with my tried and true wetline gel. After drying, my curls were POPPIN! The curl maker paired with the wetline is a game changer for my wash n gos! I mainly used the curl maker then added a little bit of the wetline gel. I'll definitely be using this gel combo for my wash n gos to have poppin results everytime!

This definitely makes your curls look beautiful!!!!!! BUT you will have flakes after it dries🤦♀️ I used this product with Curl Lala, thinking it will give extra moisture and reduced the flakes. It did a little. Overall, I used this product directly after washing my hair. I did use a generous amount. It gave me a beautiful flexible hold.

If you are scent sensitive, do NOT buy this. The smell is terrible to the point I was miserable. It is a foam and not a mousse, and for me the hold was not there for me. I have 2b waves and my ends were soft but defined, but my roots were not. The next day there was no definition anywhere. So this should be used with something else.

I have natural hair and heard this was a great base gel for nice definition and decent hold. Base gel, being that you need to top this product with either a heavier gel or mousse. Day 1 hair looked great but there were heavy flakes present. Also, I found that any kind of humidity or water resulted in a lot of frizz. I used one pump per medium sized section, maybe that was too much, not sure. I could see it working for others, just didn’t impress me much.

The products felt really nice when mixed with the leave-in from Camille Rose, I also went over both the crawl maker and leave in with the Ouidad frizz control gel. Perfect in my opinion for a good wash and go, but does have a slightly irritating aroma to my nose. Other than that, it is good

This gets you whatever curls you looking for! You don't have to over manipulate or use an excessive amount to see the curls. Works great on two strand twist and twist out. It's a softer hold with a lot of moisture and shine. Love this product the price will have you side eye but it's definitely one of the better curl products on the market!
