I ordered alot of Chex to make alot of party mix from Target really as a convenience to myself. I was disappointed to receive TWO boxes with the plastic bag inside of them opened! I doubt I'll order this again from here. Here is a picture of one of them.

Chex has made steps towards being part of a “clean eating” diet. Go the full stride and make it organic with no BE (bioengineered) ingredients. Americans are getting better educated on the hidden poisons in food. Organic Chex could become the best seller in the near future.

Been eating Rice Chex since I was a kid in the 1970’s. In over 40 plus years I have never had a problem with Rice Chex, until now. My most recent purchase of two 18oz box’s were both defective. Both box’s had harder than normal clumps of Chex mix. These clumps were either poorly mixed product or dried clumps of old mix from prior batches. While the flavor was not impacted, the texture was harder and unpleasant. Also, as others have stated, Im disappointed by the use of bioengineered sources , which will likely reduce my consumption of Rice Chex cereal going forward. Bar code 0 1600017102 2. Expiration 13 May 2025. Review date 9/14/24.

There is no amount of your attempt at justification for this poison that will ever make me buy Chex cereal again, until you STOP WITH THE BIOENGINEERING. I USED TO love Chex cereal but never more. I hope that there are many previous customers who are like me and that your company IS feeling the repercussions for destroying what used to be a trusted brand.

Foods often contain genetically modified/bioengineered (BE) ingredients in the U.S. Many of our products do as well. Bioengineered seeds have been approved by global food safety agencies and widely used by farmers for almost 20 years. If a food or beverage product lists corn, soy, canola, cottonseed or beet sugar as an ingredient and the product is not organic, it likely contains BE ingredients. In the U.S., the U.S. Department of Agriculture has created rules for how food packages should be labeled so that you know if they contain BE foods or ingredients. At General Mills, we use the allowed text under the rule. As a result, some of our food produced in the U.S. will now have a statement on pack like “Contains a bioengineered food ingredient” based on the product formula. If you are looking to avoid BE ingredients, you can check out our many brands that offer organic and non-GMO foods including Annie’s, Cascadian Farm, Liberté, Lärabar, and Muir Glen.

Recently I have found “nuggets” of this cereal that appear to be tightly bound pieces that when they are hidden in the cereal taste like a rock and have to be spit out instead of breaking a tooth! I actually have pictures of these things!

Rice chex are the best! We've been using the cereal for years to make various types of puppy chow. Grabbing a few boxes when I'm at Target is extra convenient.
